Full disclosure, I'm a moo. But my ranking would be: 1. Yooa 2. Ye in 3. Moonbyul 4. Soojin 5. Chanmi 6. Eun Ji I know I'm really biased putting Moonbyul up there but I do admire her style a lot. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy Chanmi's performance very much, it felt very stilted. And although I loved Soojin's energy, I guess it didn't include a lot of technical skill? I'm not a dancer though, could be totally off there. Oh and if you ever want to see this peformance in high quality, here the link: https://youtu.be/LYAfkjveHDo

I'm a moo as well, but man... YooA totally stole my heart with her solo performance 🔥

My ranking would be: #1 Yein #2 YooA #2 Moonbyul The other two (I can't really say 3) didn't really move me at all, like I knew what they were trying to achieve but they just couldn't get me. I think everyone would put YooA to first place, but Yein's performance is more memorable and creative imo. Oh, and yes, I gave Moonbyul the second place as well - I just appreciate that she danced to her own song in her own style. It was her. The vocal unit's ranking: #1 Team 95. No words needed, it was a great synergy. #2 Team AA. Minnie's voice is amazing, it's really unique and man I'm so happy she decided to become a kpop star, because otherwise I wouldn't have a chance to listen to her beautiful voice. Tbh I think Hyejeong was really nervous and unsure of herself, the whole "leftover team" thing probably got to her, also she was never the main vocal of AOA, ChoA was the true main vocalist of the team, and maybe even Yuna is more skilled as a singer, so it must have been challenging for her. She has a nice voice but she needs more confidence. She did a great job here! #3 Team 1-2-3, Wassup, we found you, Bom & Jung! It was nice.

Hwasa doing Hwasa things, but Kei really stood out. Honestly, one of my main takeaways from Queendom is that OMG and Lovelyz are filled to the brim with talent, and I wish I liked their usual music more than I do. For the dances, in no particular order I put Ye In, Soojin and YooA at the top and the others below that. Moonbyul's great, but her performance somehow felt very short and I wish she'd done a bit more. Maybe it's because hers was split into two halves? I feel like Queendom in general was a bit disorganized and all the participants really had to squeeze all of this into their existing schedules, which seems insane considering what we know of the typical idol workload.

My Personal ranking: For vocal teams: #1 Hwasa/Kei Not even up to debate. They worked so well together and Kei is such an awesome Singer so underapprecited. #2 Minnie/Hyejeong super performance. Minnie salying it was no surprise but Hyejeong shines and she was not the main vocalist of AOA even after Choa leaving the group. #3 Bom/Hyojung, Hyojung did a really good job, but i feel like the song choice was more of a burden for them, Bom was too emotional about it and this didn't serve the performance For the Performance team: #1 Yein by far for me the more impressive choreo, she nailed it and the style was really original for KPOP #2 Moonbyul might be a bit biased but she stay true to her style with a more "masculine" choreo and that's always a big plus for me #3 Chanmi A powerful performance for a really powerful performer #4 Yooa She did an awesome performance but for me this song is a cheat code, the choreo is already iconic so i prefer something more original. #5 Soojin she is a great dancer but i didn't feel the "Tango theme" until the last 5s of the performance Also yeah Bom and EunJi were set up to fail this round i felt bad for her they didn't gave her a solo part. It was BS! Overall Queendom was a laboratory testing things cuz for Mnet, the Real deal was Kingdom

When you see that GIdle were not here on the first meeting due to their schedules, MMM doing a 2days concert and then going into the first round with minimum sleep Queendom was such a mess

Hey, just wanted to give you a big Thank You. Haven't been a Patron long, but I'm really enjoying the content. I'm a big MooMoo (as you can tell by my handle), but have really wanted to get into Dreamcatcher. I've only heard good things about them. So I think I will turn back the clock and discover them along with you. Thanks always for the inciteful and relevant commentary. And for making it fun.

Hey thanks a ton! Plenty of DC content on here for ya, plus always more to come. I read all comments even on older videos, so let me know how your journey goes!

My ranking would be: 1. YooA, because, come on, that was fire, she destroyed her performance🤯 2. Yein. Everything in this dance was beautiful, from choreo to music itself ✨ 3. Soojin. Hothothot🔥 4. Moonbyul. I’m a hardcore Moo, but I honestly I enjoyed others’ performance a little more than hers, which doesn’t mean that she was bad (she was fcking awesome🔥) 5. Chanmi. It was cool, but I didn’t really felt captivated by her. As for the vocal units: 1. Hwasa & Kei. They killed it. That’s the explanation. 2. Minnie & Hyejong. My baby Minnie did so good, and the whole song suited them so well🥺 3. Bom & Hyojung. I’m not really a ballad person (with some exceptions from mamamoo’s discography), and while I acknowledge the work Bom and Hyojung have done, I can’t say I enjoyed their performance as much as the other two. Can’t wait for the next episode👍🏻✨ Thank you for your reactions😙

You can’t show tattoos on tv in Korea or even be allowed in bathhouses because the older people see tattoos and associate that with mobs and gangs even idols like chaeyoung in Twice and others use skin color like tape to bandages and that blur it to match skin tone or use make up to cover that is why you don’t see idols tattoos at award shows and their stages on mcountdown , etc.

If you haven't already seen it, the full cam for the collab performance is a must! (https://youtu.be/E9khvDfYQxY) Queendom is so interestingly different from RTK and Kingdom in that it's for a live audience! So some things that look great on camera didn't read well for the live audience, and vice versa. Like OMG in the first round clearly looked/sounded great live on stage in a way that didn't fully translate through the camera, and they got the votes to show it! Definitely something to keep in mind for the next 2 rounds in particular ;)

I think the bathhouse thing is more Japanese than it is Korean, mostly because of Yakuza (an organized crime "group?"). Korea is defenitely also conservative about tattoos, but not as much.
