BSS is a special sub unit of Seventeen, stands for Boo-Seungkwan ,Seok- DK and Soon- Hoshi,, it came from their real name. Just Do It is their song..BSS is also the gag trio of Seventeen..

Your cat is so cute! and yes there is three versions of Don't Lie! Two in 2020 and a third in 2021 which might be my favorite because of how different the outcome was. And I'm pretty sure the Going Seventeen staff and crew are all hired by Pledis, yeah, but i heard some of the crew have experience on other non-kpop variety shows so that could be a reason why the production is so good. Also yeah BSS is a subunit (Boo Seungkwan, Kwon Soonyoung Aka Hoshi, and Lee Seokmin aka DK), and the catchphrase is "happiness doesn't come from good grades but BSS". And none of them have been in dramas but DK has been in the musical Excalibur and will be in it again this year! :)) Looking forward to the next episode!

BSS is BooSeokSoon!! it’s an official subunit formed by Seungkwan (BOO Seungkwan), DK (Lee SEOKmin), and Hoshi (Kwon SOONyoung), otherwise know as the gag trio, and they have a song/MV called Just Do It!! the literal translation of the song title is essentially “Without Hesitation”, and one of their catchphrases is “Happiness doesn’t come from grades, it comes from BooSeokSoon” also Carnival is one of my favorite Going Seventeen episodes, it’s a whole ass mess

also the current Going Seventeen production company is visualnwit! it seems like they got their start in variety content working with Seventeen but they’ve also worked with NU’EST, verivery and SF9

Thank you for the reaction, and the beautiful view of your cat! He really is gorgeous. I second Meesheroni - the Carnival episode was a mess, and they refer to it again in future episodes! Don't Lie 3 may be my favourite as well. Seventeen and the Going Seventeen staff all have such good ideas to make things different and exciting. Like their latest episode where they play foot baseball (not sure if that's the actual name of the thing but that's essentially what it is). It's incredible!

You're right that the captions are really fast. I could never react to Going episodes for an audience, I take about double the runtime of an episode to watch because I pause every 5 seconds to read subs. Irt this set, I think it's probably a set regularly used for crime dramas and such that they got to rent out for a day to film there. On Carnival: They had originally planned to do a paintball episode but then Korea came out with some kind of new gun law that prevented them from airing that content, so staff basically made them do improv on a parking lot somewhere and it was a MESS. They're usually really good with improv if they have a theme they can work off of but this time it was just awkward af. At some point they took a camera and pointed it at the PDs crouching on the floor hiding their faces in despair. It was still hilarious to watch because the editors are miracle workers but it's definitely not Don't Lie levels of quality.
