So they are still under Happy Face. HP created a subsidiary company and named it DreamCatcher Company. HP has a boy group called DICE, and they did the same thing creating a subsidiary company for them. I'm not exactly sure what the benefit is, maybe there is some reason legally to do it? Like so DCC revenue only goes to DC? There are rumors HP is actually planning on debuting another girl group late this year or early next year. Some of the HP trainees were backup dancers for DC during the Scream era.

It is way more confusing than that. Happyface entertainment did change their name to dreamcatcher company, there is no longer an entity known as happyface entertainment. So technically dcc is not a sub label. D1ce company is a sublabel that was created when happyface became dcc. The new girl group is from hf music, which was the first sub label created back in 2017. We know this since they are the ones doing the Japanese auditions for the new girl group set to debut within a year.As you can see, not as simple as dcc being a sub label, though that is way easier to wrap my head around xd

I agree, they really are made for variety shows, but I'm really happy to see they are slowly given more opportunities as they will have an Weekly idol episode again during their comeback promotions

Handong is awesome. In their recent Dream Concert performance, you can see that Handong and JiU are ripped, their arms and shoulders are no joke. And their personalities are just as strong 😂

Oh damn what an episode, Handong just won herself the Bias-wrecker title in less than 10min, i foolishly though that yoohyeon and gahyeon where safe but nope i love how fierce she is. This show is making me an insomnia for sure, what a lovely and fun group. my only disappointement is that it's impossible to find their early mini-album, can't buy them :(

HappyFace did change their name into DreamCatcher Company. But if I’m not mistaken DCC started as a subsidiary, but changed it in 2019, guess because DC was the main resource (money) they had. DCC has some subsidiary companies now and one of them is HappyFace Music where the new GG is going to debut under.(still a rumor)
