6 months seems fair, I say this only because of the seasonal outfits you do sometimes. Like currently with the bunny suits for Easter/spring.

I would agree with 6 months simply because of variety and we wouldn't want to forget about those characters that have been chosen. Also, it would be nice to see other characters from anime/games we haven't seen yet on the drawing board.
