She let out a shrill little giggle.

“Cmon honey, you know the drill!” Her daddy said.

“First we clean you up, and slide that soggy squishy diaper off you! We slip a lovely fresh clean diaper under you. Make sure everything is spic and span before giving you a little tickle with all the baby powder. Then we pull it over you like this and do up the tapes!”

“Can you count the tapes with daddy?” He asked.

“One!” They both said as he did up the first tape on her diaper

“Two… three… what comes after three?” He prompter her. She couldn’t quite remember the answer but her mouth lay open as she tried to say something that wasn’t quiet there!

“It’s four! But don’t worry, you’ll learn that when you’re older!”
