I've been very excited to see the Kim Possible painting, ever since the livestream. But imagine how happy I was to see this new, surprise cheerleader variant 😻😻😻😻😻 Overall, I really enjoy the lighting on this piece, with the warm lighting bathing her face, chest and middle/bottoms of her thighs, with darker shadows across her midsection and hips. Those contrasts in light and shadow look lovely and really make the brighter parts of her pop! Her hair looks gorgeous with so much intricate detail. I am always impressed by just how many strands you detail and render and I always enjoy the depth and volume of the hair. And in this instance, the bright, white edge-lights are a great contrast to the warm orange and really accentuate those areas. Looking at her main outfit, I just have two small critiques that I'll mention first, before I get to all of the good stuff 😸 On her raised arm, where the sleeve wraps around the forearm, there's this gap in the material, it's where the sleeve touches the glove. So we end up being able to see the background through her sleeve, when we should be seeing the inside of the sleeve. The second little thing is at the boob-window, there is a shadow at the top of the window, where the material overlaps her chest. But the sides and bottom of the window doesn't have those shadows where the material overlaps the breasts. But with that out of the way, I really enjoy the different textures of her clothing. her green pants are very painterly and I really enjoy the visible brush-strokes. The more textured pants are also a nice contrast to the black top which has smoother blending to the material. Both parts of her outfit are also made to be very vibrant thanks to how you've blended different colours into them. Looking at the pants, you've blended orange tones into the shadows which contrasts well with the green. Likewise, I also like the bright-white edge-lighting on her hip, popping against the shadows there. The various folds and creases that zig-zag across her pelvis look great too. I also like the plane changes at the top of both the belt and pants, where there's that lighter tone that runs across the top of the pants and belt. And that shadow that shows where the pants overlap the skin of her stomach/hips looks very nice too. As for the black top, it looks very nice with a mix of subtle warm tones blended into the top planes, while a cooler blue tints the undersides of her breasts. The blending of tones is smooth but still with a subtle painterlyness that I really enjoy too. And all of the plane changes across her arms, shoulders, chest and breasts look great, with all of these areas have well-defined shapes and volumes. The skin of the breasts looks great too, with the bright, warm lighting making them pop against the surrounding black material. And what we see of the dark shadows on the skin does a great job defining them, with the dark shadows wrapping around the brighter skin tones. I also really like her hands and gloves. The textures of the gloves are lovely and painterly, with the mix of warm and cool tones making the black look so vibrant. I especially like her raised hand, with warmer, yellow tones tinting the black from below and cool, blue edge-lights across the fingers. Kim's face looks super adorable too. The lighting is lovely with a contrast between the warm lights and darker shadows on either side of her face, with her big, green eyes looking very distinct and captivating 💚💚 Her nose is really adorable, especially with the little shine-spot on the tip and I also like the subtle, rosy-red tint to her cheeks. Lastly, her smile is just really cute and the lighter tones along her lower lip and shadows across the top contrast well together. But we're not done! Because you've gifted us quite a big surprise with this cheerleader variant! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 You know what I'm going to say... I love the colours! These shades of purple are gorgeous, I love how rich the purple looks, with the warm oranges and yellows being a great contrast. The orange trim across the bra and skirt looks lovely with it's smooth, shining texture. I like that the orange on the bra shines brighter, while the skirt is more subtle, thanks to it being in shadow. The painterly folds and creases within the skirt look great too. As for the bra, I like the subtle, painterly textures here too, with those deeper folds in the bra straps. The subtle shine on the brightest parts of the purple looks very nice and especially contrasts the rich, dark shadows that wrap around the undersides of the breasts. A great little detail I really like are the purple edge-lights that run along the undersides of the breasts, making them pop against the darker shadows underneath them. Not only that, but those little edge-lights also accentuate the twisting fold in the material that runs diagonally across the breasts, showing where the material overlaps itself. It's also great how you've painted different versions of the breasts, depending on the outfit. I really like this attention to the detail. With the black top, her breasts are pushed together and squished between the boob-window. Meanwhile here, since the cheerleader bra is looser, the breasts are allowed to spread apart, but you still have those little shadows where the orange trim overlaps the skin or even presses into it. And all of the newly unveiled skin for her arms, shoulders and chest are painted wonderfully. I like her left shoulder, kept in shadows with a subtly brighter section at the centre of the shoulder, with lovely, smooth blending. Meanwhile, the raised arm looks wonderful with how the shoulder wraps around the bicep, with edge-lighting accentuating the overlapping muscles. Absolutely terrific work on this painting, Didi! I love both outfit variants for Kim and you did a beautiful job painting two very distinct designs and colour schemes, all with lots of lovely texture! Oh, I forgot to mention the thigh-highs, suffice to say, they look super sexy and I really like the little edge-lighting along the tops of the material, combined with the deep shadows where the material squeezes the skin 😸 Very well done, once again! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Very excited to see all of the final versions and to play around with the PSD.
