I've been doing so much sketching lately!! The portrait I've started above and the sketch below are of our campaign's halfling rogue, Maela. It's still very early in the works, but I've had a lot of fun lately with characters and vibrant colors.

I'd been trying to figure out what I wanted my next creature painting to be, and I think I've settled on wanting to paint a kirin! The first sketch below was my initial exploration of what it could look like, but I started over and created the second. I like the flow of it much more, and I imagine it to be a delicate, rare, quick forest beast like a stag. Still tinkering with how fully painted I want the piece to be.

Aaaaand #eyememe! I honestly don't have a ton of finished characters so I was pretty happy to have enough to participate haha. Really looking forward to painting out Maela's eyes, I'm really hoping to make her portrait very vibrant and illustrative.

So much to do- I still want to keep tinkering with the painting of Wesley the Fox, and I've got a few commissions that I'm working through. Feels really good to stay busy and keep outside my comfort zone, gotta make it a productive year :3

Have a wonderful week!
