Personal Art Update: 02 (Patreon)

Herbalist NPC from our 5e campaign. Reggie and his winged serpent are the local source for medicinal herbs and various strains of smokeroot amongst the districtgoers and visitors of emerald keep. Laid back, friendly, and trusting, he’s one of our group’s favorites within the city walls. 

Semi-successfully trying to get less clumsy sketching in Procreate. This is Wesley, a new NPC that recently joined our party to guide us into the Elderwood while we seek out the inkeeper Maura's witchy sister. He saved us from a feral griffin this week, so we're already pretty tight. Also he's cursed!

I was doing some flora studies, which evolved into some plants/tree designs. Hoping to take this to the rendered stage at some point, I'll probably record some of the painting process for $10+ folks!

In a domain strife with inner conflict and deception, a royal hybrid beast was bred specifically to ensure the safety of the sovereign state's most essential team of couriers. Deeply bonded to their masters, these creatures are trained from birth to immediately destroy any sensed threat, regardless of context or intensity. The lifelong-appointed messengers are the sole beings in contact with them, and any state-dwellers outside of the royal circle caught breeding or possessing one is brought to a swift and harsh sentence. Ideally, they are never threatened as all members of the domain's society can recognize their markings immediately, and the beast's enormous plumage and powerful stature usually intimidates away anyone that may approach.
