There was an episode of the 1960's Spiderman cartoon where a villain wanted to encase Spiderman in wax. In this version, the villainous Parraffin gets his wax statue after knocking out Spiderman and immersing in preserving wax.

Thanks - I found that episode of the cartoon and it was a good one! There's something so funny about Spiderman seeing someone encased in wax and a stand with his name on it and still managing to get trapped!
