My patreon work got infringed! (Patreon)

I have some bad news.

I just got word that Patreon got data mined a while back and that everything that I made, up until around July of 2022 got stolen and posted illegally on a website. 

I have seen it and it is despicable. And I can apparently only make a DMCA takedown notices if I share personal information, like my name, real life address, mail address, phone number, and more. And they do share that with a 3td party.

Which I'm definitely not comfortable with doing. 

I'm not sure yet what to do about this. But mentioning it at least, without naming the location of the stolen content, may be a good start for a paper trail. 

As far as I can tell. They didn't get their hands on anything past July 2022. But this is concerning for my financial stability on Patreon.

This will not have any effect on my posting on here. But I do want to put this on paper.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that but now that you mentioned it... I was searching for a character (you know the one) about two months back and I saw your name pop up on a suspicious site but I had no idea that it had stolen all of your exclusive Patreon content. you always got my support pal I got your back.

And the issue with DMCA is you will have to hire a private attorney or pay an exorbitant fee on a website ($200+USD) in order for the site to render service on your behalf. but I can assure you that these are professionals who will not use your information for anything malicious. unfortunately, this is the internet operates. no content is safe from the dregs of society that harm artists by stealing their content but there are other means of protecting content such as having a discord tier for early patreon work.
