The former self obsessed guy, seems to have spent to little bit to much time in a eternal void with only his own mirror versions to keep him company. In order to not completely lose his mind and soul, he had to give up his body, and transform into this.

Not an entity made out of flesh and bone, but more out of reflections themselfs. As long as there is a reflective surface, he will be there. But with every reflection, comes a second version of himself. They all are him, just multiple at different place in space, all at the same time. 

Sadly he can't seem to talk, or be seen by the ones still holding on to there carbenbased forms. But he can communicate by touch tho...

Good luck trying to escape from them. Just so you know. your own eyeballs are a reflective surface. BWHAHAHAHA!!!
