Hi all!

The Patroncast is here, and this month we're celebrating the return of the 'sort of' naming protocol, and discussing the weird space that January & February have in the gaming calendar...

Naturally, you can also watch the unlisted YouTube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zpQSOfms-Y

Or you can just download it from Google Drive if you prefer - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UPEYw8HSf003B92otC2hQsZ_e5tMDRKC/view?usp=share_link

And don't forget the entire playlist of Patroncasts too -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xy8-DABMEx4&list=PLwH1xJhcXG0f38Jjmzko1yKXoTR_c2MFJ

And as for Ted, I'd like to stress that we bought a bigger sofa specifically so we could all fit on it together, and somehow he still manages to stretch himself out so much that he fills 80% of it...

That was me who called House a villain. Although really I meant antagonist and for Jon to consider every possible antagonist in the games including Caesar and Lanius, although I think the answer would likely have been the same regardless. I couldn't pick an individual antagonist for Fallout 2 though. Horrigan is obviously the final boss but not the mastermind behind anything. President Richardson I suppose - he just never made much of an impression on me.

Hey Jon, it was me who asked about classic Tomb Raider, I Actually asked on behalf of my boyfriend who absolutely adores those games. Here is what he has to say about which has aged best: To be honest, tomb raider 2/tomb raider 1 are the best of the classic games (but with some jank of tank controls similar to early Resident Evil). Once you get the platforming style down (follow the tutorial at the Manor) the games are great. Tomb raider 3 is very similar with difficulty cranked up to 12, tomb raider 4 has the best controls of early games but is incredibly hard and almost entirely set in Egypt. Tomb raider 5: chronicles and tomb raider Angel of darkness are completely underbaked messes, but have fun moments. Dan is a big fan of tomb raider and did a stream of tomb raider 3 a few years ago - may be worth getting his view!
