Anywho Jon, you missed the twist to dead space and you aren't going back to that, but it's so clever that I thought I'd mention it here: you know the "twist" that Claire checked for and erroneously said was the actual twist? Everyone knew that. Including the main character, in character, the entire time - because his girlfriend worked in comms and got out the last and only warning message to him. And got killed by xenomorphs while she was on the line. And then he hid it, rigged the jobs system so he could show up, and showed up in body armor ready to kill everything. The brilliant thing is that all your stomping murdering sociopathy the entire time was IN CHARACTER. Pretty choice way to subvert expectations ay? And you were only maybe an episode from running into it when you dropped. That's why the comments were like kicking a beehive under it and it still gets mentioned sometimes (which is honestly the only reason I remembered it, but given how clever it was I thought you might appreciate knowing.)
