Hey! The For Rent game patch has been released so here's an update for compatibility with some fixes and improvements that you messaged me about, thanks!
❗ This release is ONLY compatible with the 1.103.250 (December 5th) game patch!
❗ With how much changed in the game it's difficult to know if everything is working correctly, so if you're going to play, let me know right away when you encountered any issues with WickedWhims.
❗ Many script mods (ts4script files) have been affected by the game patch. Look out for updates from other mods!

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the For Rent expansion pack and its potential with renting units, new events, and secrets. I definitely want to play around with these features and add sexy tenant events and kinky secrets to discover. There's so much new potential for storytelling!

So it's been a while since I released new features. That's because it turns out I was pretty overworked. That made me mentally unable to focus on work so I couldn't get anything done. All I did here for the past few months was assist you to ensure you can continue playing without issues. And this update is yet another example of it 😄 Although my brain was constantly active, coming up with cool new ideas to try, I wasn't able to feel motivated to do any of it... until recently! Magically things are back to normal and I already have a few new things ready, but I'm still taking things slow. It would be unwise to burn myself out again so quickly. I will be showing you some of the new features I've prepared soon to build interest and hear your opinion early.

Happy New Year! 🥂 I have some amazing new stuff prepared for you this year, so hopefully it doesn't take too long to finish it all up and show you 😊

◆ Added an interaction on peeping Sims to 'Shoo Peeping Sim Away' when they are inconvenient
◆ Fixed player window peeping breaking when another action is queued up after peeping
◆ Made pregnancy idles from the 'Pregnancy Potential?' moodlet only display as thought balloons
◆ Fixed 'Pregnancy Potential?' moodlet sometimes showing up after sex that didn't involve impregnation
◆ Fixed jealousy from reacting to sex not counting towards the Villainous Valentine aspiration
◆ Fixed Attractiveness notifications not showing up for cheating Sims in relationships
◆ Fixed Sims watching sex failing to initiate masturbation until the very end
◆ Fixed initiating sex by joining shower not working for open showers
◆ Fixed Sims needs freezing before starting sex
◆ Changed default keyboard shortcut for progressing sex from 'Q' to 'F'


v179.6 [2023-12-13]

The For Rent expansion pack required way more work to assure full compatibility because of the new residential rental venue type, which is why it took a few days to finish this update. Recognizing different areas of the lot and figuring out how different features should work within them required rewriting a bunch of things. Hopefully I got it all covered 🙂
The expansion pack itself has some critical issues that can potentially break your save, but hopefully these will be properly resolved with the small game patch coming on December 14th. This 1.103.315 game patch should be compatible with all mods that got updated for the For Rent release so no worries.

❗ If the penis is appearing floating/stretched/distorted (even when Sim is not having sex) then you need to delete incompatible/outdated mods affecting tongues and/or penises. Check out the list of known files causing issues.

❗ Make sure to not save while on the Manage Worlds screen. Due to a game inconsistency, saving the game on the Manage Worlds screen creates faulty save slots that cannot be properly recognized by mods. No worries though, in case you do it, correcting it is very simple and explained in-game.

i got an error i dont know why. Everytime i try to have my sims having sex it stuck on a loop and saying error last exception

I just added this and removed the old one and when my sims went to do the hanky panky, it kept restarting them over and over again and an orange error message came up. WW seemed fine with I started my game. No error came up. I don't if maybe I need to up date MCCC? That might be the issue.

thank you for posting this! I was trying to figure out which mod was making it so my sims wouldnt sleep and when I saw this comment I took out wicked whims, and yup, now they're sleeping!!

Like others have said, sims will get into bed to go to sleep but immediately glitch out of the bed. And when you get try "making a move" or anything sexual, it just glitches and a pop up comes up to recommend ending sex!

I just removed MCCC. I normally don't use it and was planning on removing it anyways. I like UI honestly more. But it seems everyone is having issue with the their sims having sex.

I was seeing this (and a whole crapton of exceptions) with NisaK's mod, and as soon as I took it out my sims started sleeping and the exceptions stopped. I'll wait til Nisa updates her mod to install it back.

If you're running NisaK's mod, try removing it and see if that fixes it. It did for me. Nisa hasn't updated her mod yet for the new patch.

It seems like I'm running into the 'custom menus not showing up' issue. But I'll wait until the pack is released and the mod has had time to be worked through and fully tested, I'm in no rush! Thank you for everything you do!!

My sims can't woohoo. they just stand in the middle of the bed and I have no other mods connected to wicked whims. I put Better Exceptions in and it caught it right away,,,,,Says the tunning is messed up somehow

Wow the patch really forked the gameplay. Even when I remove almost every mod, WW is throwing out constant errors whenever any sim engages in fun. The errors are every second. I'll send some diag, but guessing you're already on it. Thanks for making Sims so great - sorry EA keeps messing with it though.

Quick question, i havent updated to the latest patch but i've noticed my game is lagging really bad all of a sudden. Someone suggested that this is due to WW and that the latest patch v179.5 fixes this issue? My question is can i use v179.5 patch without updating my game and also has anyone else experienced the lagging issue and resolved it by using the latest v179.5 patch? Thanks!

When my sims are having sex it constantly restarting the sex animation. But the animation doesn´t show up. I am getting 15 expection files in under 10 seconds. I don´t know what to do.

The menus are back but I'm having an issue that seems to be revolving around outfits. With only base WW my sims avatars go blank when they attempt to change clothes. Their outfits are never changed in game, but the WW debug tools show that they are in the new clothes. I start getting exception files generated after that.

Why are teen body options gone? All I have showing up is to change strap-on, no underwear, tongue , feet. Also no option for pubic hair.

Under "Personalization", then "Anatomy & Clothing" the only choices are to change the strapon or genitals. Young adults and up have option for "Body Selector" where you can choose body parts, tongue, body top, body bottom and feet. If male the penis selection is included. I can assign body parts if I choose select sims.

Is anyone having an issue where Polyamorous isn't working? I had an issue where my PC was being the player that he is and got caught, even though the NPC had Poly. It did affect her Romance level with me and I had an embarrassed moodlet. I will investigate further but just wondering if anyone else had this issue as well.

I keep getting an error with the tuning package that wont let me load the game. The error says theres something wrong with my sims prefrerances, but even if i change them, i still get the errror and my game wont load, just rederecting me to the world options. Better exceptions tells me its the ww tuning and the hair preferance that has the issue, but like i said, it doesent go away when i change the preferances.

Miko Ojo was considered a romantic interest. I marked a loveseat at Planet Honey Pop as "Mark Object as Always Accept". I proceeded to do the nasty with Bella Goth on that loveseat not knowing that Miko Ojo had shown up there. Miko had the Cum Slut and Poly WW traits. She watched Bella and my PC do it on the loveseat and I got the notification that I got caught. Miko got the "Very Sad" moodlet and I got the 24 hour "Caught Cheating" moodlet, even though I had Poly, Nudity Enthusiast, and Sexually Adventurous. I've tested it several times and have not had it happen again. I don't know if it was the venue or something else that caused it, but it did happen. As a side note, this was during the "Romance Festival" and Mortimer did catch Bella flirting with me and he got upset. I made him leave the lot using MC Command, but no "cheating" issues came on Bella Goth's end.

Everything seems to work fine for the most part after updating, had to update nisa's and this so my sims could sleep and bathe again, only other small thing I noticed was during sex they put on condoms like normal but my female sim always gets the "Pregnancy Potential" moodlet. She doesn't actually get pregnant so condoms are working fine other wise.

I also have no 'wicked' options when I click objects e.g beds.. MODs and Script Mods are enabled. It allows me to click sims and edit Wicked settings and personalisation menu but no sex interactions. I have plenty of animations installed and have the most up to date Wicked Whims file. Have had no issues with this before.

It wound up being completely unrelated to the mod. I'm running it on a linux box through steam/proton. I downgraded the version of proton I was using and everything runs smoothly. I've gotten a few exceptions and am collecting them, but they haven't broken the game or functionality.

I figured it out. Apparently, there is a "Fear of Being Cheated On" that Miko has which bypasses Poly. I have Wants and Fears turned off, also, as if that really matters to the NPC gameplay. Is this new? I don't remember seeing it ever before and I really don't know why Poly doesn't cancel it. Or, is that not possible?

Im not having that error but I am having a different one. My menu will randomly decide not to function. I will choose wicked and select my sims and then nothing will happen. If I go to select them again it only gives me the option of npc sex (like my sim is already engaged in an act, but he isnt). I do get an exception message. I have to restart my game to fix the problem. I just updated cumshine so hopefully that was my issue..

Damn, I had some old WW files outside the WW folder, so I guess that was making some incompatibilities. I removed them and now it works perfect!

Just an FYI....after receiving the For Rent pack, I didn't have access to the residential rental drop down on any lot, in any world. After I removed the Ksuihuh Venue List from my Sims4 folder, I then had access to the residential rental drop down for most lots...even 2 lots in Sulani, but only land lots, not the lots on water.

Hello.. not sure if important and/or if you are already aware.. but it seems that the "hypersexual" lot trait is not really doing anything in the new residential rentals. I also placed several "invisible" sex permitted in room sign in some of the shared spaces like the gym bathroom/ Laudryroom/ sauna room and no one is having fun - it seems :P ( very different than when I had roommates, instead) Just wanted to flag... ^^ Thank you

This isn't a mod causing the issue, but rather the game since this is part of wants and fears. I'm also using the WW override for Woohoo and TFB switches. Could that WW override work inversely also? In other words, WW sex is now recognized as Woohoo and/or TFB. I'm thinking of turning that override off and see if that solves the problem but that particular game fear pretty much makes Poly useless for that sim anyway since you can't even flirt with others without destroying the relationship. Oh, and before I forget, the only scripts I was using when this happened was MCC, WW and BMD. Nisa's WP hadn't come out yet, but that's the only additional one I'm using now.

I found one issue, where a sim watching sex won't autonomously start solo, but when the sex they're watching stops, _then_ they might start solo but only for a second. This seems to be new, I didn't see the issue with 179.3 and/or before the recent TS4 update. I'm running 179.6 and 1.103.250.1220. And MCCC fwiw.

Loving the updates! There is an issue though. It's seems like I never have anyone subscribe to my sims simhub. Followers work just fine but since the recent update no matter how many subsriber only pictures I post no subscribers are added. I don't even get a daily update when I do them either. (As if it's not registering that the picture was posted)

Hey! I just tested it and not only it works, I can't see a way for subscribers to not increase if you're increasing your public members. You can't develop subscribers without both growing your public presence and sharing pictures with subscribers. Not getting daily summary updates is worrying, but unless you're getting errors from the game, I don't know. Update notifications only show up if you uploaded something the previous day and your account isn't suspended.

Odd thing is that the only change that happened yesterday was with one other mod and I removed it to see if that was what caused compatibility issues. It's quite strange. Would there be any specific sort of "common" file that the subscriber upload only would be affecting that may have a conflict with other mods in general? I assume off the bat that its script related. I wouldnt imagine that any other pack file would cause this. Also to state, whenever I post a public picture I get the notification that I posted a public picture AND I get a daily report. However when I post a subscriber picture, I do not get any notification... (but) I do get the comments that come after when you normally post one and I do not get any daily report if a subscriber picture is the only thing I post during that day. (Quite literally as if the subscriber picture is not registered at all.)

No notification after uploading a picture for subscribers? You won't be getting any if you don't have at least 50 subscribers, but that is an oversight. You shouldn't be getting comments from these early on though, that's a mistake. I will have both of these issues corrected soon. I don't know about the summary, but I'm sure there's no conflicts. One reason to not receive a summary is if you haven't uploaded any actual fresh pictures because old stockpiled or duplicate pictures don't count as progress.

Hi, I just wanna say that this mod is absolutely fantastic. Though after the recent update, I have quite a severe issue with my game. I'm not sure whether it's a bug from the game itself or from the mod. I didn't buy For Rent Expansion yet. Whenever my spellcaster having a children, their face will disappear after they grow up into teenager, leaving behind only their teeth and hair only. Quite a freak if you asked me. I try breeding the other occults, but their children are fine. Only the spellcaster have this kind of problem. Thanks you again for this amazing mod.

Hi, sorry to bother just having a weird issue. Is there anything I need to do in game to enable WW with this newest update? It was working fine on the 12/13 release but with this release I'm no longer getting the WW menus. Hey! I'm not sure what you mean, WW always influenced romance, but it will only do it if you do it first via regular romance so there is an indication of a romantic relationship. If Sims don't have any romance, sex won't develop romance, these Sims are just friends.

Previously had this problem with the "relaunch/error" message I kept receiving but got rid of some skins and animations and it stopped. Then, I downloaded this patch, took everything out of my Sims4 file...just included WickedWhims and everything worked fine. I added all mods and animations back in one by one...and again, everything worked fine, until I added fully stock fish into the fish tank, then I got the "relaunch error, game didn't load" message again. I removed the fish tank altogether and no longer received the relaunch error.

Yes, this is just normal gameplay. Tense from being outdoors when they don't really like it, plus tense from the too-public sex act, is two stacks of Tense. Just like a Confident "Quickie with a hottie" after-sex moodlet will stack with Confident moodlets gained any other way. It's just how moodlets work.

Thank you so much for your diligence in getting these updates out! I am having an issue that I cant seem to find the answer to. I have WW, RPO and MCCC Woohoo. I no longer have the option to woohoo and try for pregnancy. The two switches in the pregnancy settings to override the game commands, are already off. I tried turning them on, restarting, turning off, restarting and it's still not working. I explored MCCC, RPO and WW forums and have not been able to find a solution. When I remove WW, I get the options again. I really do not want to play without WW, but I cant seem to get pregnant without the woohoo and try for baby options.

Edit: Found a problem, I tried to set it as Shift+F initially to make the letter look capital, entering just "f" works fine. I think you just need to always show the defined key as capital.

I would love to see an option to automatically apply specified random wicked attributes to newly generated Sims. The first thing I do when I make a new save is push random attributes to all sims, I send different ones to male and female sims, but what's not important. I'd just like to know that when a new sim pops in they'll have a chance to not be generic.

I don't know if this could be added as a wicked trait, but it would be nice if there was a trait where no matter where a sim is or how crowded it is, they don't care at all about undressing wherever or who all is around them. Like they're extremely confidant in themselves and confidant of their bodies and don't care about what others think at all. Cause I've noticed even with exhibitionist sims set at level 5, they still get nervous and shy about undressing around a bunch of people. Even with nudity pressure and nudity reaction being off and all sims are nudity enthusiasts and sims respect nudity privacy on, they still act like that.

I just noticed another issue since the latest update....when my sim clicks travel on the phone, and its just that particular sim traveling....in transition, it still reflects just the sim, but once they get to where they're going, every sim that was around them when they used the phone to travel, ends up going along with the sim to the destination....even though there was no one clicked to join that sim. Crazy, huh?!

So it appears my response was deleted....so be it. Can anyone tell me if package files, like clothing, pictures, etc. would cause a game to "break"? Am I correct that only another mod would cause a game to break?

Hey! What do you mean your response was deleted? Depends what you mean by break, but anything you put into the Mods folder can cause issues, errors, crashes. It all depends, some content will independently cause issues, some content will only cause issues when interacting with other mods. That's why it's super important to keep all of the files in your Mods folder updated. And when testing issues, you need to do it in isolation, so only the suspected mod can be installed so other mods don't interfere. The game has its own issues too, that you will encounter without any mods. It all depends what it is and how it manifests. Some things are widely known and easy to recognize and correct. Many things are a mystery and require to find the source of it as nobody knows what you have in your game.

Hey, I noticed my sims not receiving cum during sex I looked at my settings & the option for cum during climax & sex is on but my current sims randomly gets cum sometimes or not at all from sex.

Hey Turbo! Hope you're well. It would be awesome in the next update if you could include a notification option for window peeping Sims. As I miss a lot of the Sims who do it due to a big home in my game! But thank you for the awesome content. :)

They are, but they are also made to block the Inappropriate Unlock mod-- which pretty much everyone uses. Also, Lumpinou's Discord has a gatekeeper bot that will ban you if you have the Inappropriate Unlock. I've stopped using Discord altogether, because everyone seems to have their own pet peeve mods, and set up a gatekeeper to ban anyone using them.

Hey, I seem to have an issue with my male teen sims not being able to get others pregnant anymore. I do have the inappropriate unlock and female teens can get pregnant but only by adults not teens. I cant find anything in the settings to change it, pls help.
