In the previous post, I explained the basic three steps Sex Autonomy has to take to initiate sex. Next update will introduce more details into this process and hopefully make it more organic.

I want to explain what was expanded and improved in these three steps since initial autonomy introduction.


Situation

The base is still the same, the process looks for available Sims, but this time it includes Player Sims too. And there is a setting that allows you to exclude Player Sims from the autonomy process.

One new thing that Sims test for is the risk. If they are teens or elders or there are underage Sims at the active lot, the risk will be higher. The risk is used to determine if Sims want to take it, but currently, it doesn't affect the overall possibility of autonomy too much. Later this process will include pregnancy chance as a way to affect the risk too.


Relationship

Not much changed in this process.

In a previous update, romantic conversations were hooked to trigger sex autonomy. If Sims are flirty long enough they will eventually get to the business. Now, if both Sims have a flirty mood and if the target has a high desire level, the chance for sex autonomy trigger will be higher, as much as 75% on the High Level setting.

High Autonomy Level has more effect on other things too.


Location

This process got the most of the work.

Locations are now divided into 5 location style categories. Privacy Location Style will look for the most private place, something that was the default process since autonomy introduction. Comfort Location Style will look for the most comfortable place, like a bed, this one is more common this time around. Semi-Open Location Style will look for bigger rooms or anything from the previous locations styles and ignore more restrictions. Open Location Style will look for something without a roof, like your backyard. Public Location Style will look for anything outside the current active lot.

Location Style is picked based on the Sims that will be having sex, the lot venue type, time of the day, if it's a party, and a little bit of randomness. Every location style carries a risk chance with them, so more extreme places will be less likely to occur.

Evaluation of room types was reworked to recognize them base on the majority of objects. Picked objects are shuffled and only counted as unique to allow for more options. And the performance of finding locations was significantly improved.


Other

Sex Autonomy trigger was reworked to run more spontaneously and be affected by time of the day and day of the week.

Previous commands related to testing sex autonomy were removed and a new one was added to include all information you might need - 'ww.testsexautonomy'.

If all testing goes right, autonomy group sex, NPC pregnancy, possibly a house lot trait and sex-related traits will be added next.

The main issue right now is expectations, wanting something to happen because you think it should happen. This can only be solved with more means in the game allowing you to make the game recognize that. This will require far more thinking and feedback from you to see what you're missing from the current state of autonomy.

OK so was thinking about all of this and wondered if there was an opportunity here to additionally use the club options for autonomy.

oops pressed enter :( okay to continue.. add sex to the club activities and then ovveride, if possible, or increase the possibility of autonomous sex whilst in a club meeting if the sex option is checked for the club, possibly even overidding the gender type assignments and always accept settings etc that are in the main settings... or making them options of their own for club meetings.. that way a friends with benefits club could be setup which pretty much gurantees a gang bang session every club meeting with increases to members of exhibitionism and sex skills.

You should be able to edit your comments. I will eventually get into implementing clubs support, but that will be separate from this process. I first need to be done with the base layer of autonomy.

I vaguely remember seeing this mentioned before, not sure if it was from you or on here at all....Have you thought about tying the "stripper" profession in to exhibitionism? Already, you couldn't really do that profession without having a high level of exhibition anyway. You've already mentioned needing to add specific pieces of clothes being taken off in the future....just a thought. A half baked one at that, sorry for the bother.

We can talk about it when the time for adding strippers and other professions comes. Right now I don't have any solid plan for that and it's not on my mind. In any case, exhibitionism could contribute to it.

Hello Turbo! Regarding Sim Statistics, would it be possible to add the names of the sims that you have had sex with to the statistics, and number of times with each sim? Maybe asking too much? Also maybe darken the color of the fonts, or maybe different combination of font and background so it makes it a little easier to read the stats? Probably just me and my bad eyes......Sorry for all of the questions, I know how busy you must be. Fantastic work you are doing as always. Love love the sex autonomy!!!

This time it's about removing a bed, nice, still, I don't know what this error is. Besides that, you have an error related to careers which looks like an error in the game. I think you're good to go.

Hey! Statistics are not really designed to contain complex information like that besides there not being space for it. I don't have much control over the interface either, this is what the game gives me. I would like to figure out how to make your own GUI, but so far there wasn't too much trouble with using the existing ones. Thanks!

Would it be possible to make it so "risk" is only an optional factor in autonomy at some point? I wouldnt mind just seeing sims choosing to do it wherever and whenever without worrying about who sees.

"Risk" is not really the right term for the implementation of it, it's actually more of an "Appropriateness". The point of it is to shape a group of more likely Sims to have sex. This way teens are less likely to try and elders are even less likely where any other age considers it 100% appropriate. Another factor to "risk", or better "appropriateness" is children on the lot. It's rare that it will lower the score by even 20%. "Risk"/"Appropriateness" is not to block sex, it's to shape a more likely scenario. And the "Risk" implementation doesn't have anything to do with when or where they do it.
