March 5 Update (1.491)

• Fixed an issue that causes an empty bubble to show up when you click on other sims

March 4 Update (1.49) sorry for putting out so many updates lately, the crystal creations update really did a number on the mod 🥲hopefully this is the last one 

• Fixed an issue that caused ultrasound scan photos to not get added to sims inventory
• Fixed an issue that caused sims to not be able to sleep or do breathing exercise on the hospital exam bed
• The Pregnancy check up interaction in the call obstetrician menu will no longer say your sim is in labor if they are in the "not showing" stage

Feb 28, 2024 Update:

Updated the mod for the v1.105.297 Patch. This update is required for all players unless you own all the dlcs.

The sims team fixed a bug that has existed since the dawn of time in yesterdays patch, in doing so part of the childbirth mod became pack specific, meaning you are likely to experience some degrees of glitchyness unless you own all the sims4 packs. downloading 1.47 will fix the issue.

Step 1:

Sims can now host gender reveal parties

Step 2:

It works like a regular social event with the main goal being revealing the gender of the baby

Step 3:

You can find all the objects related to the gender reveal by searching "gender reveal" or "pandasama"

Step 4:

After purchasing the balloon arch, you can click on it and select "Get Gender Reveal Supplies" to get the gender reveal cake or the gender reveal balloon

Step 5:

It is recommended that you use the "Gather" interaction to get sims to gather around the balloon or the cake, it will take them around 5-10 sim minutes to react to the interaction so please be patient and don't spam the interaction to avoid lagging

Step 6:

After sims at your party have gathered around the gender reveal balloon/cake you can then pop/cut it with a romantic partner (30+ romance required) or pop/cut it by yourself

Step7:

If you place down the gender reveal glasses, nearby sims will automatically wear the pink or blue glasses to show which gender they think the baby will be. after picking up a pair of glasses you can also click on the buck again to "switch sides" if you want your sim to wear the other color. Sims who guessed the gender correctly will get a happy moodlet after the gender reveal

Step 8:

Your sim can make fruit punch with the fruit punch bowl

Step 9: If your sim hosts a gold gender reveal they will get a milestone like so

Fixed an issue that caused some of the childbirth settings to not work

Jan 24, 2024 Update(1.46)

• Added more venue options to host the gender reveal party
• Removed the mentioning of a mysterious "Jack" in one of the moodlets

Jan 02 2024 Update (v1.45)

• Fixed an issue that caused sims to eat the cake before you get a chance to cut it
• Fixed a typo that mentioned "balloons" in the cake notification
• Sims should now be more willing to getting the party glasses than they were before
• added a gender reveal disabler package, If you do not want the gender reveal portion of this mod, download the disabler and put it in your mods folder, and it will remove the gender reveal party from the UI of the phone, and hides all the gender reveal objects to debug.

Dec 25 Update (1.44)

• Fixed an issue that causes gusts to run everywhere after gathering, they should now return normal within 30 sim minutes maximum after gathering

Dec 25 Update (1.43)

• Fixed an issue that causes the gender reveal balloon to not appear in the inventory when having RPO installed
• Fixed a typo that mentioned a mysterious Lisa in one of the moodlets

Dec-21-2023 Update:

Made another attempt to fix the issue where the social event isnt showing for some players.

To use this update, please completely remove the child birth mod from your mods folder, open the game, load into your household, save and quit, then put in the new update. Please let me know if its still not showing up for you even after you followed these steps.

this update was confirmed by three people to have fixed their issue.
