Hi guys! I hope you all are well!

This week I continued to work on the weaning system, which ended up being surprisingly complex. It might sound silly but a good amount of my time this week was spent making sure the toddler is the one getting weaned, not the adult. I often felt like I didnt have enough brain power because there's just so much to keep track😵 but I think I finally got it.

Unfortunately that means a lot of what I did this week cannot actually be showcased through screenshots, so I only have a couple of images for you today.

some of you might remember this interaction from last week where you can explain weaning to your toddler if you decided to quit "cold turkey"

I added a couple of buffs for the parents depending on which option you choose, if your explanation was successful you will get a positive moodlet, and if its unsuccessful you will get a negative one:

here are two of the successful moodlets;

(if you decided to tell the truth)

(If you decided to make up an excuse)

I also want to make more early pregnancy exams and screenings. Right now I am working on an interaction that allows sims to get pap smears.

this is what the pap smear exam bed looks like (still a work in progress)

sims will get on like this:

I still need to work on the part where the doctor would come and take a look. Im not planning on adding cancer to the game but perhaps this interaction could work with WW to detect infections and inflammations.

I also want to add:

blood work: sims will actually get their blood drawn to see if there's any abnormalities to their pregnancy, hopefully this would work nicely with healthcare redux since I know adeepindigo has made lots of pregnancy related symptoms and illnesses.

Pitocin drip: This is something that was suggested by Jobs in my discord server. It is an IV medication used for labor induction. I have been wanting to make something like this for a while as a way to speed up the laboring process and help stalled labor.

Lastly, I published a vote here to see what nickanme I should use for "boobies" in my weaning system, I realize the name "nana" does mean grandmother for some families so I want to see if there's a more popular alternative, head over here to vote: https://www.patreon.com/posts/85400395?pr=true

I did giggle a little when I read nana, that’s what I call my grandmother 😭😂

Could you possibly connect the fertility level in Wicked Whims to the blood work feature? I think it would be interesting to have to actually go and get blood work done in order to see your fertility level as opposed to just taking a test at the toilet. Love your mods! ❤️

Wow this all looks so good, thank you sm for your hard work! When should we expect to be able to download the toddler breastfeeding mod?

Simslegacy5083

Oh! If the blood work could show an HCR complication that would be SO cool ❤️. Right now her complications only seem to begin in the 2nd trimester, just FYI

I just want to gently share (as an OB provider) that for some people, having an exam on a table like a Pap smear was traumatizing for them, especially if they didn't have a compassionate provider. I also feel a little nervous having an interaction like this on the Sims. Those are my little points of consideration. I'm amazed at the work you do! You have such a gift!

Aminah

Thank you for your hard work and all that you do. ❤️

These are awesome additions!

Wow. Once again I'm really blown away by all the love and attention to detail you put into your work. The Moodlets are great and I like the lounger with the drawbacks very much. Thank you for all the hard work you always put into this. :) I'm really looking forward to having everything in the game. :)

So pitocin is used for women who are over they're due date and will help get the labor started so is there a way like you won't have your baby and maybe the doctor calls like 2 or 3 days from the time you got the having the give birth in ??? moodlet and says that the baby is way over due and then they make you come to the hospital to have pitocin to jump start your labor I think that would be cool but some first time labors take longer when you use pitocin instead of letting the body do it naturally I think that would cool as well

Frezja1728

Incredible. You are the best Modder ever! <3

Ugh… the pitocin trauma 😭😭😭. My little one almost died so I had to have it and it makes labor worse 😔😔. Right now we have the early delivery option and adding Pitocin to that would be perfect. I wonder if there will a labor moodlet will reflect that. “Is regretting her choice to have early labor. The pain is significantly worse and she just wants the baby out, NOW!!” Bloodwork showing pregnancy abnormalities will be a no one addition. Now, I hope HCR and WW expand on this, that would be perfect!!! Also, I just want to let you know you’re awesome 🧡

Panda you are amazing! I truly love your mods

Your work is AMAZING

this is small but is there any way you can make a reaction to having multiples during the ultrasound? Like shocked or something?

I love this, but will it work with wicked whims, a.deep.indigo health mods, or Sim Realist private practice?

I think the pap smear is awesome! It shows awareness in a gaming way more people are likely to follow and go get theirs done

HO LEE COOWW. What awesome ideas!

Do you have an eta of when this mod will be available?

PandasamaSims4

Probably in two months, it’s really hard to say right now because I’m still in the early stage of production

Ashley Stanbra

I had Pitocin to induce my labour for both my kids, it made the contractions faster and way stronger and they start with a low dosage then rank it up so as more went in the worse and faster the contractions came, it also increased risks of a c-section. but both babies came 9hr later lol

Ea should REALLY hire you !!

So excited for this! Would be interesting if there’d be a way to “make an appointment” on the calendar like yearly or something. Or for sims to get uncomfortable/nervous during appointments, especially if it’s their first time. Maybe during labor, you could even add some transition moodlets—like them getting the chills or wanting to throw up as they get closer to having the baby. Or, adding some pregnancy books like we had in ts3 and if sims read them, they’re less likely to get anxious and freak out during labor, but if they don’t, then they’re more likely to have a hard time? Just ideas, of course—I’m really loving everything you’re doing and can’t wait to see what comes next. Thank you for all that you do!💖💕

Hey PandaSama! I hope all is well, I was just wondering if you planned on adding animations for multiple babies for the homebirth option, I know you are SUPER busy right now and I don't expect it any time soon, just wondering if it's planned for in the future, the update progress looks great as always!

PandasamaSims4

Hii! I can’t give a definitive answer right now, mostly because animations for multiples were so painful to make, I feel like I still haven’t fully recovered from the hospital birth animations. 🥲but at the same time I know a lot of people have been asking for them, so it’s definitely on my to do list, I just don’t know when I’ll get to it
