Hi! I hope all of you are having as good summer as it can be! I have a small announcement to make:

I have to take a short break from drawing, like, anything. I know I shouldn't have to explain myself too much, since everyone should have a right to rest every now and then, but you guys have helped me out so much that I want to keep you updated about how things are going.

In short: I have been a bit overwhelmed for the last couple of years. The whole process of coming out as non-binary was quite a turmoil, but I also lost to cancer a person who was very close and important to me. Then I started in the art academy, and although it's a bit shorter and lighter process for me because I'm already a professional artist, it has still taken a toll on me, especially on top of the earlier fatigue. I have been able to maintain this page, but all of my other comic projects have been stalled as a result. Through the spring I have been feeling burned out and since I know the signs from earlier experience, I decided that I have to take a short break.

It sucks, because I kinda feel like I'm letting everyone down, but I'm hoping that by avoiding a total burnout I can keep on making art in here without being bed-ridden for months.

I also realized that July just started, and it would have been better to get this done before that so those of you who want to take a break from supporting me because of this could have done that in time. I'm sorry for that, but chronic fatigue causes brain fog and it's hard to keep up on things. I understand that this may be frustrating for some of you, and I'm truly sorry for that.

I will be posting my older works in here, both comics and artwork, and we shall return to more regular schedule at the end of the month.

Take care of yourselves!
With love, Oda

Hey, didn't know about you coming out as Non-binary, I support your journey and sorry for the loss of your loved one. Don't worry about taking a break, everyone needs one especially if you're fatigued. Just think of it as a sabbatical and you can return whenever you're completely refreshed and most importantly ready to. Take Care.

have a good vaccation and recharge those batteries .. sitting by a river or lake, doing nothing but sticking the toes into the water helps a lot with that 8)
