Concept art: Spirits (Patreon)

I created two concepts for spirits. Concept art 1 shows the whole creation process from the beginning at the top left to the final design at the right. These spirits are small cat-like creatures.

Concept art 2 shows smaller spirits (size of a human hand), that are based on vegetable and cats.

Spirits need a clean environment to survive. Some live close to human(oid) settlements attracted by food and the spiritual (magical) energy of living beings and places.

The "Brief Thief" will be introduced in the Knights in Japan comic.

Maybe you wonder why I create sfw concept art. The answer is simple.
I want to show vivid worlds in my comics and those worlds need things that live there.
Living things and places, that can tell their own little stories.
So I hope you enjoy this insight in my concept art.
