We love all of this, but the middle panel is really what ties it all together. It's really coming through strong that he's slightly out of breath, only a hare. You can almost imagine what he's saying "Haha, phew, just a sec there. No I'm fine. No, nothing has changed." Then third panel and bam. He flew too close to the sun.
