OC Showcase: Zeke (Patreon)

Here's my dragon boy, Zeke, who's one of the older trio of OCs i have! I think everything i have to say about him is in his bio on my discord, which is pasted below. I do plan on redesigning his dragon form, since that has been on my list for a loooong time. Hopefully i can get to it during my break

Creation: Zeke is a mashup OC, and was created during a fad going around the internet where you took a handful of your faves, and fused them into a new OC! He's made of features/traits from the following characters:

Backstory rambling:  First off I want to add (or remind, i cant remember if this was mentioned) that Zeke was adopted, but it wasnt a regular adoption. His grandmother was part of a strike force type thing to end Illegal Familiar Trading.

In this setting, having a familiar was basically creating a magical bond to "enslave" another living creature and use them as a magical conduit. Doing it with animals is fine, but it crosses a LOT of lines to do it with sentient creatures or creatures of a certain intelligence. The evil people would enslave children and whatnot to use as familiars.  

On her last mission before retiring, she was part of a raid that basically put a stop to the biggest familiar trade, and freed all their slaves. One of those tiny baby slaves was Zeke, and, uponing seeing that he was also a dragon, decided that she would take care of him.  

And with that revealed, as Zeke got older and learned of his "origin," he had a very strong dislike of the familiar system. So one day, he Florence and Oznie eventually found out some business where evil peoples were trying to revive this illegal familiar trading, so zeke and co tried to stop them.  

but being young and inexperienced, they were in over their head and probably almost got killed (at least once.) The last time, Oznie's parallel angel had to bail them out, and sacrificed himself to do so, but in the end, pretty much shut down that attempt at illegal slave trading.  

However, there were some kids that Zeke wasn't able to save and weren't recovered, since they were taken by some of the baddies who escaped, so he's still very upset about that today.
