Early 2020 Changes! (Patreon)

If you read my 2019 Retrospective post or sat in on some of my more recent streams, then you will be aware that I'm discontent with a number of things. This means Patreon will be going through another bit of changes! 

These changes will be happening in March, giving people ample time to prepare and consider how they will be continuing their patronage.

-The biggest major change: The $15 and $25 tiers will be done away with. This means there will be no more monthly requests. After initial payments have gone through in february, i will be making these tiers inaccessible in preparation for their removal.  

-With the highest tier slots gone, I will instead be re-opening Commissions with updated pricing for 1 week every month that anyone can get in on. Once March rolls around, I will have a new post with new pricing ready for everyone to consider. But do note that they will be higher than what you've seen before, and notably higher than what one would've paid when holding one of the higher slots!

-With commissions being reopened, The commission discounts offered by the tiers will be moved and/or modified. I have yet to decide on what to change them to, but patronage will still be a benefit for those who wish to commission me!

Like what was mentioned in the restrospective, the current system is not sustainable nor is it healthy for me, so i'm dialing it back.  For the most part, Polls and the monthly fills taken from the polls will be unaffected by this change. I will still be holding polls as they have been for the past year, in addition to continuing testing the Downvote system i put into place in December.

This new system will be so my months feel less filled with obligations, and to give me additional freedom during the weekends, since i wont be forcing myself to dedicate several hours twice a week to streaming. (there still will be streams cuz i will do personal work and commission work during them, but less guaranteed streams).

When i make further decisions, i will update this post and be sure to notify you all of any changes i make! If you have further questions or feedback, please please PLEASE let me know. I'm absolutely fine with people being ok with/liking whatever i do, but it definitely helps to say that. :P
