Download vamX 1.29.0.4 - Faster vamX Menu, Improved Pose/Sex Alignment, Tweaks for VR (Patreon)

The numbering on this version is 1.29.0.4 (instead of 1.30) as it is was intended as an intermediary bug-fix release (even though it also ended up with additional features).

NEW in vamX 1.29.0.4

Switching tabs / pages in the vamX Menu is now much, much faster (most often, with no significant delay). This allows you to navigate the vamX Menu more efficiently, reducing the time and frustration to get to, for example, the 17th page of Female looks.

Multiple improvements for pose alignment for sex. Solved a longstanding issue that caused loss of alignment (in ways that couldn't be resolved by reloading the pose). Alignment is now improved, but also, if you lose alignment, simply reload the pose.

Added Skippy's male cum clothing, so you can now also cum on male / FUTA people (and see the lasting cum effect depending on where you came). Cum clothes added with special permission from Skippy. Improved Ragdoll Options (in Pose -> 4th Page). You can now set 3some people to Ragdoll, as well as choose if you want the Ragdoll person to collapse when moved off of their center, or to collapse immediately when you press Ragdoll (the new "RAGDOLL NOW" buttons).

Fixed issue where grab head to Embody was unreliable. Press both VR Controller trigger buttons (SteamVR) or grab buttons (Quest) near a person's head to Embody them. Press both buttons near your own head (like you're removing a VR headset) to stop Embody.

Download and Run vamX

1) Download vamX 1.29.0.4 for Virt-a-Mate 1.20-1.22 from Mega -or-
Faster Download of vamX 1.29.0.4 for Virt-a-Mate 1.22 and Higher
This file is named vamX.1.29.var (the same filename as the previous release) so you will need to overwrite your previous vamX.1.29.var package if you had downloaded the previous version of vamX 1.29.

2) THE BASE HAS CHANGED! YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD vamX.Base.1.var (or from Mega) EVEN IF YOU ALREADY HAVE IT!

3) Optionally (not required) download the AddonPackages. These haven't changed since vamX.1.29.0.0.

4) Put var packages (from steps 1-3) in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you have previous versions of vamX, you can delete them. Previous versions are only useful if you created and saved scenes with those versions of vamX. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate or a Virt-a-Mate key, learn more here.

5) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the vamX scene (thumbnail of a woman wearing a bra and panties, lying on a bed). If it's your first time using Virt-a-Mate, start with the vamX Tutorials scene instead. If you see a white box instead of the vamX menu, you don't have the vamX.Base.1.var package in the root of your AddonPackages folder. To verify the vamX package version before opening the vamX scene, click the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the vamX scene icon.

6) If it's your first time using vamX, press Help -> vamX MAIN TUTORIAL from the vamX UI -> Scene tab.

8) Should I download anything else? If you've downloaded the latest version of vamX, you have all vamX features. The only additional thing you can download are the separate vamX Environments. Environments can only be opened as separate Virt-a-Mate scenes and cannot be switched to in the main vamX scene tab.

9) First get comfortable using the vamX scene, then advanced users can Add vamX to other scenes.

VAMX VOICE CONTROL 1) Set your Windows default microphone before opening Virt-a-Mate 2) Have the Virt-a-Mate window active (the last selected window selected by clicking anywhere in the Virt-a-Mate program or clicking the Virt-a-Mate icon, not by using Alt-tab). You can download VaM Stay In Front .zip (Optional - Helps if you accidentally click other windows while using Virt-a-Mate - VaM Stay In Front keeps the Virt-a-Mate window active, which keeps voice commands active). Addon Packages (optional) Full Addon Packages folder (2.9 GB) (You must still download vamX 1.29.0.4 in addition). Some vamX items and pages are marked in-game as AddOn, to use those items you need the Addon Packages. The Addon Packages haven't changed for vamX 1.29.0.4.

Voice Effects Pack (optional) In Sound you can add Vocal Effects. All Vocal Effects are modifications of the original female Belle voice. You can choose from a variety of normal sounding or strange (e.g. angel, robot, monster) voices. Download the vamX Voice Effects Pack.

For those already familiar with vamX functionality you can load vamX into any scene using the Merge Load scenes. Watch the Merge Load Tutorial Video on Mega or X VIDEOS (set the quality in x videos to 1080p). You can also use the Add vamX plugin which adds an "Add vamX" button to the main Virt-a-Mate menu.

ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS & FIXES

Multiple improvements for pose alignment for sex. Major improvements in many poses in the first few pages of Pose -> Bed / Floor. Fixed occasional, major, issue with pose alignment that could appear when choosing a pose first, then showing the male after. Fixed other pose alignment issues.

Major improvements in loading speed when changing pages / tabs in the vamX UI (vamX Menu). Also the vamX UI doesn't stop changing pages (and has a much reduced delay) during long loading of other textures, such as when returning from the hub or changing looks. Overall the vamX UI should update 2-5x as fast as before (when Virt-a-Mate is run from an SSD or high speed thumb drive).

Fixed minor issues with Maive and VaM Hub tutorials.

Fixed major issues with VR tutorial.

Removed log message each time the PossessSex plugin was used to possess anything, for example in the VR tutorial.

Now when grabbing the female's hands the VR Hands disappear so you can easily grab her hands and make it look like she is stroking your body. In general Virt-a-Mate VR Hands didn't disappear / reappear reliably when using the grab to possess hands vamX feature. When possessing a female's hands you could still see the VR Hands, and when switching back and forth between Embody and non-Embody (for any person) the left hand could disappear completely. To grab any person's hands, simply align your VR Controller / VR Hands with their hands, then press the grab button on your VR controller.

Possess + has been improved, but if you have issues with using Possess + (standard Virt-a-Mate possession) you may need to manually reset your Virt-a-Mate Menu -> User Preferences Tab -> VR 2 -> Position and Rotation offsets to 0 (all offsets on that page).
