CHANGES in vamX 1.24

Created LUT Color menu. Open the LUT Color menu from the bottom of the Light tab. LUTs are amazing, especially for Desktop mode. They can completely change the look & feel of the scene. You can create black-and-white, film noir, nostalgic sepia, strong contrast, or hundreds of other looks with LUTs, all without a substantial decrease in framerate (even in VR). Thanks BooMoon, Oeshii, and SPQR for all of the amazing LUTs. Thanks MacGruber for PostMagic (used to load and display LUTs). 

While in the LUT tab, you can click the Light tab to easily change lighting (to see how the LUT reacts to different lighting), or use the bottom Change Fem. Skin button to cycle through various skins (as changing skins can also accentuate the new LUT colors).

Added 10 anal poses, good for both M/F and M/M sex (for M/M sex you may need to increase the penis length for some poses / looks). These anal poses are in Pose -> BED -> 11th and 12th (last) pages. They can also be opened from Pose -> SEX -> FROM BEHIND. Anal poses load a new sex collider that attempts to align action for anal sex while in anal poses.

Added new animated spanking pose, female folded spanking, in the 11th (2nd to last) page of Pose -> BED.

If this is your first time using vamX, start with the first tutorial as described in the download steps below.

Download and Run vamX

1) Download vamX.1.24.var - for Virt-a-Mate 1.20.77.9.

2) IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD vamX.Base.1.var. If you already downloaded vamX.Base.1.var for vamX.1.23, you don't need to download it again!

3) Optionally (not required) download the AddonPackages. Users of vamX.1.23 don't need to download these again.

4) Put var packages in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you have previous versions of vamX, you can delete them. Previous versions are only useful if you created and saved scenes with those versions of vamX. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate learn more here.

5) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the vamX scene (thumbnail of a woman wearing a bra and panties, lying on a bed). If you see a white box instead of the vamX menu, you don't have the vamX.Base.1.var package in the root of your AddonPackages folder.

6) If it's your first time using vamX, press Help -> vamX MAIN TUTORIAL from the vamX UI -> Scene tab.

8) Should I download anything else? If you've downloaded the latest version of vamX, you have all vamX features. The only additional thing you can download are the separate vamX Environments. Environments can only be opened as separate Virt-a-Mate scenes and cannot be switched to in the main vamX scene tab.

9) First get comfortable using the vamX scene, then advanced users can Add vamX to other scenes.

VAMX VOICE CONTROL 1) Set your Windows default microphone before opening Virt-a-Mate 2) Have the Virt-a-Mate window active (the last selected window selected by clicking anywhere in the Virt-a-Mate program or clicking the Virt-a-Mate icon, not by using Alt-tab). You can download VaM Stay In Front .zip (Optional - Helps if you accidentally click other windows while using Virt-a-Mate - VaM Stay In Front keeps the Virt-a-Mate window active, which keeps voice commands active). Addon Packages (optional) Full Addon Packages folder (2.6 GB) (You must still download vamX 1.24 in addition). Some vamX items and pages are marked in-game as AddOn, to use those items you need the Addon Packages. The Addon Packages haven't changed for vamX 1.24.

Voice Effects Pack (optional) In Sound you can add Vocal Effects. All Vocal Effects are modifications of the original female Belle voice. You can choose from a variety of normal sounding or strange (e.g. angel, robot, monster) voices. Download the vamX Voice Effects Pack.

For those already familiar with vamX functionality you can load vamX into any scene using the Merge Load scenes. Watch the Merge Load Tutorial Video on Mega or X VIDEOS (set the quality in x videos to 1080p). You can also use the Add vamX plugin which adds an "Add vamX" button to the main Virt-a-Mate menu.

ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS & FIXES

Random Blow Job pose changes (Pose -> 3rd Page -> BLOW JOB) now only cycles through blow jobs at your current location. So if you start on the bed you only get random bed blow job poses, and if you start on the chair you only get random chair blow job poses. There are only 3 standing blow job poses, so if you start standing, instead it cycles through all possible blow job poses.

After using vamX, when opening the Virt-a-Mate Top Menu (the menu that shows the VaM Hub and Scene Browser) the vamX Menu was shown over the Virt-a-Mate Top Menu. This has been fixed, so the vamX Menu hides itself while the Virt-a-Mate Top Menu is visible, then restores itself if you press Return to Scene View.

Fixed issue introduced in 1.23 where searching for strapons on scene start caused the pose to be reset (which, in the default scene, made her start masturbating right away, and sometimes had her load with a grey bra and panties instead of gold transparent panties). This issue was also causing dildos to be removed on scene load (if you saved a scene with vamX dildos, but without strapons).

Fixed issue with random bed poses (Pose -> 3rd Page -> BED DOGGY & MISSIONARY) sometimes loading non-bed poses.

Fixed issue with major misalignment for folded pussy fingering pose when used with females or males not exactly of the standard size.

Fixed issue with the first bed riding pose (and second bed seated/riding pose) where her hands would reach too far for his hand or elbows causing the whole pose to keep resetting.

Fixed issue with the bed riding splits pose where she would move her hands, which she shouldn't do as she is using them to support her body in the splits.

Improved alignment when switching from the bed hand job pose to the bed blow job (next to the hand job pose). Before, the animated transition made her miss the penis. Now she correctly transitions from a hand job to a blow job, at least in the default look.

There is a 50% longer wait before automatically changing poses based on Start Thrust / Smart Thrust. This means you stay in each pose longer, if there are multiple similar poses, with grouped animations, in the pose you chose (applies mostly to the first few pages of bed poses).

Longer wait before resetting the pose if Start Thrust / Smart Thrust auto hand movement causes a hand to try to reach to where it can't reach. Also her hands now increase in pull strength if they can't reach their target, to perhaps pull other parts of the body a little towards the target to get extra reach.

Fixed error message with missing morph for female fingering male ass pose.

When opening the vamX Scene, the vamX missing plugin error message (which can appear instead of the vamX Menu) is shown for a shorter period of time before the Scene tab loads.

Fixed an issue where turning Speech Recognition on/off didn't do anything until vamX was restarted. Before this fix, turning on speech recognition wouldn't enable speech recognition until you closed and re-opened vamX.

Enabling Speech Recognition now shows log messages that explain how to use Speech Recognition.

Don't randomly select Paranaux Black Curly Hair when randomly selecting hair. The full Black Curly Hair kills VR and even Desktop mode when viewed up close, even the reduced version is very taxing and kills Desktop frame rates when viewed up close.

Fewer recalculations of thrust animations during non-thrust animation may fix an issue where pose animations caused jerky movements.

Mention in tutorial that Alt-Enter toggles windowed mode, and clarify you only need to maximize the window if in windowed mode.

Fixed error message shown when saving and loading scenes with strapons (this error message was harmless).
