vamX.1.20 - VIDEO
Watch (NSFW) on RedGifs or Slushe

RedGifs loads faster but you need to manually switch to HD and enable sound.

Download vamX.1.20

Dance, Fight, Flip, Kick, Crawl, and Walk in many different ways using the Pose -> Animated Pose menu. You can now also have her walk to you, walk to an open area for dancing, and walk continuously without pausing.

Dance & Fight include options of adding the Male so he also plays random dance or fight animations at the same time (don't expect a perfect fight scene between the female and male, they are just animations playing).

Embody Only the Head (or head and one hand) in Plugins -> Embody -> 2nd Page. This allows you to maintain a simple male view even when changing poses (without requiring two active controllers). You can also now use voice commands to say things like "Embody Male Head."

New Doggy Style Bed Poses. Check the last Page of Pose -> BED / FLOOR or Pose -> SEX -> FROM BEHIND.

New Thrusting Dildo page with speed changes. Check the last page of Other -> Toys.

Animated poses don't work like they worked in 1.19 version. Something is wrong. Ladies are totally stiff...

vamx

Can you open the vamX scene to start things from a standard state, then give me a set of instructions of what you click? To test, I just opened vamX 1.20, went to Pose -> Animated -> Lying on Back and then went to Male -> Black Male. Then I went to Pose -> Animated -> Kneeling Doggy. It seems to give me the results I expected as well as the same as what I would see in vamX 1.19

I love your work and have some experience with Vamx. Did (was doing) exactly as you described. Laying pose with black male, she lays legs opened without movement (like in the static pose). Waited a bit and then loaded pose->Animated->Kneeling doggy... Male model first got entangled with the female, then I got a big physics explosion :( I'm at latest VAM version, using desktop mode, soft body physics ON, 72hz physics rate, physics update cap 2, HQ Physics OFF. VAM running in the background and models moving in entangled (completely mixed into each other) state as I write this.

DanK

While I love the idea of the animations. The models end up in contorted positions, wrapped around each other and then snap to the position. Also dance, exercise and fight animations are way too fast.

vamx

Yeah, it's impossible to handle the issue that the two animated characters may get entangled, but I think it's a great idea to provide some animation speed controls in the Pose -> Animated Poses area. Just FYI, the animations are in "real time" e.g. they are playing at the speed the movements were performed in real life during motion capture.

Hi, I love your work. I think there’s an error/bug. When adding male characters as the female, I get an error that something from “AshAuryn's Expressions” is missing & the joints don’t work or align correctly. And will a male Maive option be added in the future? :)

vamx

For a second while updating vamX may be trying to access morphs that are female only. Once it detects the male is there, it stops accessing those. I think that's why an error is sometimes thrown when switching sexes of a character. The error should be harmless, so let me know what doesn't work / is misaligned. For male Maive, not really, but you can get a sort of reverse effect if you use Maive, and use the Male Commands story. Try setting Maive to be male, then using the Male Commands story, that might be something towards what you are looking for.

For what doesn’t work/is misaligned: poses when Person #1 is a male, their head is misaligned. Definitely with bj poses. The error message I get every time I do that is "!> Could not find morph by uid vamX.Base.1:/Custom/Atom/Person/Morphs/female/Required/AshAuryn/Sexpressions/AAsex_sqntwrry2sm1.vmi or name AAsex_sqntwrry2sm1 referenced in save file"

vamx

You're right the head is misaligned and there are morph errors logged, I'll try to fix this for the next release.

vamx

I've uploaded a video of me following those steps. Can you let me know when things go wrong for you, compared with what you see in the video? https://mega.nz/file/5t4GSbxL#JQ9ip2O0NRryALp_8RYJw5kS1MLfieLrZ3DrJ96_UCg

vamx

Eventually this fix also improved some other stuff in vamX, so thanks for pointing it out.

vamx

Also, in the next version we'll be turning off soft body physics during these very fast animations which will dramatically improve the framerate, and also fix some errors where body parts get distorted during fast movement.

vamx

You just need to open the vamX scene, from the central favorites area. There are detailed numbered instructions on the vamX.1.20 download page, just follow those and you'll be good to go.

Rolo

Hello! good day, I have a repeated problem in VAM X that I don't know how to solve, the "orgasm" menu remains in an empty white box, after I use it once, just like the "others" menu. I have Base1 installed, and the latest version. I hope you can guide me. Thank you very much.

vamx

There have been occasional users with corrupted Virt-a-Mate installations. This has helped them: If most vamX menu options work, but you see occasional menus as solid white boxes, you have a corrupted version of Virt-a-Mate. First try to repair Virt-a-Mate by going to your Virt-a-Mate folder, and run VaM_Updater.exe -> Options -> Sync / Repair All. If that doesn't help, download a clean copy of Virt-a-Mate by copying the VaM_Updater.exe into a new folder (like D:\VaM), then run VaM_Updater.exe from that new folder to fully download a clean new copy of VaM (then copy the vamX var packages to that new folder's AddonPackages folder).

kaiho leung

how to add more custom pose to select hud from other creator on my own? Or can I?

vamx

It's not easy to create poses. Even after spending a lot of time on it, to adapt a pose to align well in vamX, including for various looks, and various scenes is hard. In the 2nd page of Pose, there is a Custom Pose area where you can save the current pose in one of many custom pose save slots. You can use this to save custom poses, but to really get it right you should expect to spend about an hour per pose (perhaps 2 for the first pose) aligning, adjusting, saving, turning controllers off/on, and being frustrated, to get the alignment working well.

vamx

That said, we are in the process (1.21) of making improved aligning options, as well as just going through the difficulty of making new poses. If you wish poses were there, that aren't, just send me a direct message with a picture of all the poses you wish were there, and we will add them... as long as they don't require supporting options or different heights. It's not possible yet to create a pose where the male is on the ground, and the female on the bed, as I haven't figured out what to do if you change scene to a scene with a bed of a different height, or a scene that is only on the ground.

Seraphim Elegy

Hi. Your new updates have been awesome. I have one request though. Ive been using the Male Auto Commands feature. Could you change the frequency of the commands to be slower. He seems to rapid fire them every 3 seconds; so i am unable to enjoy any of the poses or actions. It just keeps changing every 3 seconds.

vamx

That seems like a good suggestion. It can't happen for the next release (releasing tomorrow, build finished and uploaded), but I'll make the change for the following release. If you have 7-zip you can also make the change yourself. Open the vamX package in 7-zip, and go to Custom/Scripts/vamX/resources/dialog/Stories/MaleVoiceCommands. Right click story.txt and click edit (it should open in Notepad). Change these lines: [CUSTOMMALEVOICEINTERVALMIN:3; WAIT:0] [CUSTOMMALEVOICEINTERVALMAX:15; WAIT:0] to [CUSTOMMALEVOICEINTERVALMIN:6; WAIT:0] [CUSTOMMALEVOICEINTERVALMAX:30; WAIT:0] or whatever you want. Save and close the story.txt file, 7-zip should ask if you want to update the file in the zip/var. Tell it yes / it should update it. Restart Virt-a-Mate (required if it was open) and load and test your change. If you don't get prompted to overwrite the file with your changes when you close it, you can extract the file to your desktop or anywhere, make the change, then drag it back into the same place in the archive.
