Download vamX 1.17 - New Voices & Load Maive in Any Scene (Patreon)

Download and Run vamX

THIS IS AN OLD VERSION OF VAMX. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF VAMX FROM THE MOST RECENT DOWNLOAD VAMX POST. vamX 1.25 reads "one point twenty-five" and is more recent then vamX 1.7 ("one point seven").

1) Download vamX.1.17.var - Update 5 - for Virt-a-Mate 1.20.77.x - Or, instead, you can download vamX.1.17.var - Update 5 from Mega.

2) YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD vamX.Base.1.var (or download from Mega)!


3) Optionally (not required) download the AddonPackages. Users of vamX.1.16 don't need to download these again.

4) Put var packages in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you have previous versions of vamX, you can delete them. Previous versions are only useful if you created and saved scenes with those versions of vamX. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate learn more here.

5) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the vamX scene (thumbnail of a woman wearing a bra and panties, lying on a bed).

6) If it's your first time using vamX, press Help -> vamX MAIN TUTORIAL from the vamX UI -> Scene tab.

7) If you're having problems or want to learn advanced tricks, see vamX Help.

8) Should I download anything else? If you've downloaded the latest version of vamX, you have all vamX features. The only additional thing you can download are the separate vamX Environments. Environments can only be opened as separate Virt-a-Mate scenes and cannot be switched to in the main vamX scene tab.

9) First get comfortable using the vamX scene, then advanced users can Add vamX to other scenes.


VAMX VOICE CONTROL 1) Set your Windows default microphone before opening Virt-a-Mate 2) Have the Virt-a-Mate window active (the last selected window selected by clicking anywhere in the Virt-a-Mate program or clicking the Virt-a-Mate icon, not by using Alt-tab). You can download VaM Stay In Front .zip (Optional - Helps if you accidentally click other windows while using Virt-a-Mate - VaM Stay In Front keeps the Virt-a-Mate window active, which keeps voice commands active). Addon Packages (optional) Full Addon Packages folder (2.6 GB) (You must still download vamX 1.17 in addition). Some vamX items and pages are marked in-game as AddOn, to use those items you need the Addon Packages. The Addon Packages haven't changed for vamX 1.17.

Voice Effects Pack (optional) In Sound you can add Vocal Effects. All Vocal Effects are modifications of the original female Belle voice. You can choose from a variety of normal sounding or strange (e.g. angel, robot, monster) voices. Download the vamX Voice Effects Pack.

For those already familiar with vamX functionality you can load vamX into any scene using the Merge Load scenes. Watch the Merge Load Tutorial Video on Mega or X VIDEOS (set the quality in x videos to 1080p). You can also use the Add vamX plugin which adds an "Add vamX" button to the main Virt-a-Mate menu.

For some reason, when i enable Maive I can see the hair move, but my character doesn't move

Which character, the male or the female? What movement are you expecting? If you just start Maive, she won't immediately start moving her body (she does turn her head and have facial expressions, talk, etc.). She will only move if: 1) The male is on, and close and they both get turned on and want to kiss - or 2) She wants sex, isn't shy, and is generally ready for sex (Arousal to Orgasm slider > 25%) in which case she may start some sex poses and actions.

VamX UI now a blank rectangle in desktop or VR mode with 1.17. Uninstalled 1.17, re-installed 1.16 UI goes back to normal. Any guesses as to what my problem might be?

This build, vamX.1.17, released May 14th for $3 patrons. It just released for $3 patrons a couple of days ago. 1.18 released today for $8 patrons, and a month later in June for $3 patrons.

i having problem since 1.17 installed. i have not able to use 1.16 also. maive s not worki too. 1,16 s working after i deleted 1.17. wamx base was installed

Yes, if you install 1.17 you may not be able to use 1.16, but 1.17 should include everything 1.16 does, plus more.

To get 1.17 working please carefully follow the steps in the 1.17 download page (or 1.18 download page if you have 1.18). Mainly make sure you have downloaded both the vamX.1.17 var package as well as the vamX.Base.1 var package. Make sure that your browser doesn't rename the files at all when you download them. One customer had an issue where their vamX.Base.1 package had gotten corrupted during download, and redownloading that solved there problem. If this doesn't help, let me know what "not working" means. Does it means you see a big white square instead of the vamX control panel when you open the vamX scene?

You need to make sure you have vamX.1.Base in your addonpackages folder. If you already had it there, download it again as the download must have been corrupted, or perhaps your browser renamed it. Make sure you have the exact file name shown on the download link, and it's in your addonpackages folder.

i have installed 1.18. the same problem continue. -physics freeze and not changing when i do female variations or f. var. add on -after this theres no morph change when i load another model unless textures. vamxbase1 is installed

So, vamX generally works, but there are just specific errors you are having of the physics freezing when you go to Other -> Create New Looks & Scenes -> Last Page -> Female Variations? Please explain more, because when I try that, everything works fine. Also, what does this mean: "after this theres no morph change when i load another model unless textures."? What kind of loading are you doing? Clearly if you choose a new female look, MANY morphs change to load that look. So I'm not sure what you mean. Please explain more and feel free to go back and forth with me on discord if you need.

i will try to explain. i installed vamxbase and 1.18 ( i installed vamxbase two times against the corrupted file) file names are correct in the addon folder i run the vamx scene i have known the issue from 1.17 so i tried with 1.18 ==>> Other -> Create New Looks & Scenes - female variations first to 3th. or 4th try morphs not chaning anymore. only skin is chaning. after this i try load new look from base menu or vamx but nothing chaning. only skin s chaning. then female model hairs is somewhere, body s somewhere, poses not working too it wasnt like this until 1.17. i can still play with 1.16 with no problem

So, I think I've figured out what the problem is. Starting with 1.17 when changing female looks the voice also changes, and many voices add the lipsync plugin. For some reason the lipsync plugin is probably messing up your version of Virt-a-Mate. I've had this reported once before. The lipsync plugin will be required more and more as vamX progresses... in the latest version it's also used for the male. In researching this it appears there is incompatibility with certain morphs. https://hub.virtamate.com/threads/freezing-model-issues-with-rt_lipsync-all-but-hair-and-heels.15593/ I'm creating an update to the latest version of vamX (I can only change the latest version easily) so that it detects this list of bad morphs, as well as which packages the bad morphs are in, and throws an error message when you start vamX, telling you which morphs or packages to remove.

This error is something I've fixed, but not an error I created. The error was in the 3rd party lip-sync plugin. If you want, just use all of vamX except for creating new female looks, or create a female look, save it, reload Virt-a-Mate then load it manually. You can also use your current version of vamX in a clean new Virt-a-Mate install, as it won't contain that bad morph (then copy in your add on packages and test). Regarding the cost of vamX, $3 per month seems reasonable, and the new features developed during these times aren't wasted.
