Maive is now part of the latest version of vamX. Download the latest version of vamX and open the Maive scene, or add Maive from the vamX Menu Female tab.

THIS IS AN OLD VERSION OF VAMX. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF VAMX FROM THE MOST RECENT DOWNLOAD VAMX POST. vamX 1.25 reads "one point twenty-five" and is more recent then vamX 1.7 ("one point seven").

1) Download vamX.Maive_0.2.var - for Virt-a-Mate 1.20.77.9 - Or, instead, you can download vamX.Maive_0.2.var from Mega.

2) Maive requires vamX.1.16.var. If you don't have vamX.1.16.var, Download vamX 1.16.

3) Put var packages in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate learn more here.

4) If you plan on using voice recognition, then the Virt-a-Mate window needs to stay on top in order for voice commands to work. You can download  VaM Stay In Front .zip (optional, only for VR / voice commands). To use VaM Stay In Front, download it -> right-click the downloaded file -> Extract All.. -> open and read the INSTRUCTIONS file. 

5) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the Maive scene.

6) If you are using Maive in VR, you may wish to press "Possess" from the Maive UI, then click Embody Male to get started. To stop the Maive UI from appearing each time you press your VR controller trigger buttons, press Hide on the Maive UI. If you Hide the Maive UI you can get it back by showing the Virt-a-Mate main menu and pressing vamX UI. 

7) DON'T MERGE LOAD vamX into Maive. The next build of Maive will include the vamX menu, as well as the ability to load Maive into other scenes.

Improvements

Greatly improved facial expression of emotion. A constant gentle emotion based on her current state is combined with momentary emotional changes.

Improved background breathing, this was almost inaudible at low arousal before, and has now been integrated into the general emotion system.

Added Male CUM tab.

Added more poses to the Maive Pose menu.

Implemented voice recognition. Say "Maive" or "OK, Maive" then whatever you want. Includes thousands of recognized phrases.

When changing poses, if you were Embodied (possessed with Embody) then you will automatically re-embody after the pose change.

Enabled ability to change to different environments / scenes through voice commands.

If you align your head with the male or female, their head disappears giving you a good view from their eyes, even if you are not embodied.

Added checkbox in Options for voice control. If you turn off voice control, it stays off (even if you reload the scene or restart Virt-a-Mate).  Voice control does all processing on your local computer. You can check if voice control is working by saying "Maive, can you hear me?"

Fixed issues where orgasm sounds (including pre and post orgasm) often didn't play.

Greatly improved issues with penis falling out and getting stuck outside the vagina.

Added Always Aroused and Always Happy options to the Options area.

Fixed issue where sex actions wouldn't start until Arousal <> Orgasm moved past about 20%.  Before that you could be in a sex pose, but not move. Now you can thrust as long as Disgust <> Arousal is full (ready for sex).

When aroused, and not touched sexually for a while, arousal now decreases. If she is very horny nipple stimulation isn't enough.

Improved diversity and accuracy of positive responses to spankings.

Made spankings and body parts hits less painful when more fully aroused.

Less touches are detected as hits/spanks.  You need to touch a bit harder/faster for it to be considered a hit, not a gentle stroke, now.

Improved choice of words when wanting to be touched.  Now plays seductive lines that ask for sex when ready, but if not ready asks for either sensual or soothing touch as appropriate.

Fixed issue where she often talked over herself (changed what she was saying in the middle).

Added many more audio files, Maive's primary voice now includes over 2500 audio files (which includes multiple copies of similar phrases with emotional variations of words and tone of voice).

Fixed issue where she would say she isn't into you while arousal is high.

Fixed issue when using Oculus controllers that made it hard to press buttons in Virt-a-Mate. If the User Preferences -> VR 2 hands are used, and position is default, it makes it very hard to press many buttons in Virt-a-Mate.  Now we change the offset (if the offset appears not to have been set manually by you) to -0.03 for z, so the pointer doesn't hit the hand itself instead of the buttons (a Virt-a-Mate bug). This will also improve button pressing in vamX.

The last page of pose now allows you to turn on female or male ragdoll. This lets you move people into place using your VR hands or embodied player hands. If you want to try to manually adjust the female into position, and are in a vamX pose (any sexual pose) you can press Female Ragdoll, although this will remove sex alignment and allow the female to possibly fall over.

She can become more passive or more active over time (before it was sort of a fixed personality trait).  Passive <> Dominant also now changes color on the UI so you can see which direction you are headed in, as the change can be slow over time.

Improved Maive UI positioning and use in VR.

Added a couple of rare hand movements for shy and scared.

If she is shy, not desperate for sex, and she isn't fully clothed she can get scared.

Created a clothing system where she can suggest that she wants to change clothing, and then sometimes go ahead and get changed into appropriate clothes. If she wants to get changed and you don't want her to, very, very, quickly, say "Maive, stop" or "Maive, no" etc.

If she wants you to touch her nipples or pussy, she might tell you. If she is shy she might not.

If she is ready for sex she'll go ahead and start sex, choosing an appropriate pose. She'll also change poses during sex as her mood changes. If she wants to change pose and you don't want her to, very, very, quickly, say "Maive, stop" or "Maive, no" etc.

When pressing vamX UI from the Virt-a-Mate main menu, the Maive UI now jumps into position in front of the camera, allowing Maive to work in a variety of scenes / environments.

Added voice recognition for simple appreciation and very simple questions.

Other Fixes

Fixed issue where getting scared showed up as red / green changes in Arousal. Now the Scared <> Relaxed slider turns red / green when you are in the left half of the slider.

If she is very aroused, instead of saying "I like that" she moans.

Fixed issues where the male would collapse / fall to the floor sometimes when ending Embody or having him walk around using the walk buttons.

When undressing while she is horny she doesn't lose arousal during the moment you undress.

Reduced male penis size to a still large (but less large) size in Maive scene.

She no longer talks while in a vamX blow job or 69 pose.

Masturbating female starts touching her pussy earlier (at a lower arousal) in the masturbation sequence.

Improved male touch arm button, so the touch is more natural and also tends to not trigger accidental nipple touches which lower arousal.

Fixed issue with her becoming disgusted when your chest touches her nipple during a hug.

Fixed issue with male legs doing strange things if you change the male look while in a lying or seated sex pose.

Improved removing and adding female and male tops and bottoms.

Disabled the vamX touch system when using the Mavie touch system, so we don't get double touch detection. This cuts down on the number of moans played when having sex, as these were starting to overlap.

Fixed issue where "don't push me" type audio was never playing.

Added expose cycle (for built-in clothes that can be set to an exposed state, like panties pulled to the side).  Added detach, so you can set clothes to be able to fall off during movement or from touch.  These are both in the last page of the Maive UI -> Clothing tab.

Fixed issue where walk was still active when changing poses, thereby causing the poses to go out of alignment.

Fixed issue where the Remove Male Top button (and voice command) wouldn't remove the jacket.

Improved issues where her nipples were flat when wearing fishnet tops.

Changing lighting brighter or dimmer now makes it more bright / dim.

Fixed issue where male or female hands could pull body to previous location after a pose change (still possible under some circumstances).

Known Issues

If you show the YouTube browser to play music using voice commands, you'll need to also hide it with voice commands as the Hide (and other buttons under the browser) don't work.

Hands can get stuck in place, even after pose changes (uncommon).

You shouldn't merge load vamX into this scene, therefore you still can't easily use the Plugins section of vamX.

Occasionally sliders can't be changed even when set to manual mood.

During Fear & Disgust the mouth and forehead can overly distort.

The phrase "just do something" can be repeated (with different voice tones) many times under certain conditions.

Audio volume of phrases need adjustment.

Need to further improve poses to reduce explosions.
