Nightmare Months (Patreon)

I'm so, so, so sorry to everyone for being so completely absent most of this month. June has been an absolute horror for me and I can't apologize enough for not keeping up here. First, my job let go of several employees this month, but rather than hiring on new employees to take their place, they shifted the work from the ones who got cut onto us who were left. There's talk of new hires coming up soon but in the meantime it means twice as much work for everyone else. On top of that, my car windshield's waterproofing failed, leaving my car drenched on the interior and ruining my upholstry. Getting the upholstry professionally cleaned was a huge hit to my bank account, but as if that wasn't enough, my car battery - which had been waning for a while, but which I was hoping would last at least until next paycheck - completely died this week. Now I have to replace the battery, and I may have to replace the windshield as well, but hopefully there's a less expensive fix for that (I haven't had time to ask).

With everything that's been going on, I'm seriously considering turning my account off for a month to gather my thoughts and give me time to catch up with everything. This would mean that no one would be charged July 1st, and everything on this account would pick back up as normal on August 1st (with events and everything else). If anyone is unhappy with this and would like to drop their pledge before the billing cycle picks up again, I completely understand, but if any of you do decide to stay, I would be very happy to continue to provide content for you and have you around to interact with on this platform. Thank you all again for all the support you've shown me thus far - you have all made this experience so much better than I ever anticipated it being, and if we can continue to make great things in the future once things clear up a little bit, I think it will all be completely worth it.
