Well I really loved your danny phantom and fairly odd parents stuff. Simpsons as well. I really enjoyed how in your one fairly odd parents animation there was a cutaway in the middle to a pov shot. I'd love to see more of stuff like that. Getting a different view somewhere in the animation.

You seem really fond of doing works based on Family Guy/American Dad/Simpsons/Futurama, or what I will call the “Standard Adult Animated Sitcom,” or SAAS. You’re exceptional at copying the style of the work you’re portraying, which is actually an extremely rare and invaluable skill… but you keep wasting it on SAAS. The problem is that SAAS Characters are unattractive, both in their inherent oversimplicity and even by design. First, SAAS Characters are designed to be extremely simple to animate and draw. This is not “simple” in the elegant or artistically impressive sense either, but in the businesslike sense of being mass producible. There is little, if any, character or charm to them outside of what makes it easy to reproduce. Consider that every family guy character dies in a specific way, or every futurama character’s mouth is that one overly puffy lip. Not only that, SAAS characters are often intentionally designed to be somewhat unattractive to facilitate mean-spirited humor at their expense. If you don’t believe me, consider Paradise PD and The Prince as extreme examples. Nevertheless, even mainstream SAAS shows do this to lesser degrees. After all, if they looked amazingly attractive, humor that maims or kills or embarrasses them wouldn’t be as funny. SAAS shows thrive off this kind of humor and thus are full of characters who can get maimed or abased with little sympathy from the audience. If I can casually watch a character get the shit beat out of them for comedy, why would I ever be attracted to them? Both of these do not lend well to making characters we would want to see art of. Lois and Marge have their fanbases, though I would argue that is because Family Guy and the Simpsons is everywhere in mainstream culture and has millions of fans; statistically, people who find them attractive were bound to exist. These fans exist DESPITE the show’s artistic choices, not because of them. I actually have a lot of respect for these shows and what they do. But the fact remains that the characters in them do not lend well to attractive art, but it’s all I ever see you making animations of. Do more of other shows with more thoughtful art design, or that actually design their characters with care and love. That Carmen Sandiego show had beautiful art direction, an absolutely stunning design for Carmen, and your animation did it great justice. Do more of that! Bottom line: If you want to diversify your art, stop doing SAAS parodies. Here’s a list of shows I’d recommend you make more parodies of instead: - Surf’s Up/6Teen - Totally Spies - Winx Club - Kim Possible - Avatar: TLA and TLK - Carmen Sandiego If you’re willing to dip more into the anime side of things and copy their styles, here are some suggestions with relatively simple styles that don’t look hard to replicate… -Pokemon -Ookami San and the 7 companions -Cyberpunk 2077 -Is the Order a Rabbit? -Lucky Star -Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts -Little Busters -Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid

Thank you for your detailed letter. But unfortunately I cannot completely abandon these cartoons. Firstly, because I like to draw them, and secondly, most of my subscribers ask for these particular works. :) But I will try to use other cartoons and anime. Thank you.

Keep doing what is awesome (saas), just because he doesn't like fg, ad, simpsons etc. is no reason you should abandon them... I guess you know that.

Could you do Marge Simpson Christmas just like the one you did with lois. with alot of faces and smiling and faces of passion. Also, I like my Marge very busty if you could fill that fantasy.
