Ok, now. There was no progress report this month. And that's because there is nothing to report save for: We've been working on new combat mechanics and I've play-tested the game.

I know. Not very good news. And again, work outside Ben X is to blame for this.

Yet again I have fallen for the lies of a "great job" that paid nothing but was a "great opportunity" and could earn me a "steady passive income" in the long run, and I could trust the business guy this time because he's involved in a great cause. Now. It is a good cause, and the project is ok, I've learnt some useful stuff. But the promise of creative freedom and good management was... A FUCKING DREAM.

This means predicted times grow too much, frustration sets in, and the obliviousness that the lead is actually the problem is as grating as ever. We've basically done a shit ton of great -but unpaid- work for someone who doesn't have the ability to appreciate it and can't realize he's to blame for delays. So yeah, I'm tired, have the same money I had from when I started the gig 3 months ago and I'm biting my tongue when the "boss" blames others for his mistakes and praises himself for our achievements. It is still uncertain if this was all for nothing. We have a few cool leads and we really believe the cause is good and it could be profitable... but man. It drains the shit outta me.

Ben X would have benefitted if things had gone to plan. But one day I'll learn my lesson and only work on my own projects once and for all. Spanish business people, I'm tired of your promises. No, I won't work with you. Do your own shit. Use AI. I don't give a fuck anymore XD

I have people who pay me every month on Patreon and support the shit out of me. Yeah, it's not enough to pay for all the bills, but I'd rather do illustration commissions again or wait tables than get tricked again by a business-oriented mind.

So. Rant. Sorry. Angry. With myself, mostly. Nothing new there.

I hope you enjoy the Goodie Pack. I have somehow painted my favorite illustration yet on this one (Double Gag). If you are at least half as kinky as I am, I'm sure you'll like it.
