Team Nimbus is stepping up it's game - we're hiring!
We are looking for a game programmer to join our team in a full-time capacity, with a 6 month probationary period to start, with potential to continue as an ongoing role based on our income at the time.
This is a full-time position working remotely and offering a rate of US$30-34 per hour capped at US$4500-5400 per month.
These key responsibilities are required:
- 37.5 hours of work time per week
- Proficiency of the English language in written & verbal skills
- Must use Discord
- Work autonomously and remotely via internet
- Professionalism and discipline while representing Team Nimbus to the general public
- Maintaining regular lines of communication with an international team of managers, artists and programmers during work hours
- Streaming some of your work hours to the public via Piczel.tv
The most suitable candidate will fulfill most of the following selection criteria:
- High level of proficiency & experience with the Unity3D game engine
- High level of proficiency with C#, including familiarity with .NET or MONO libraries
- High level technical understanding of C#-language specific features (including LINQ), writing optimal code for performance & memory management
- High level technical understanding of underlying games technology, such as the graphics rendering pipeline & performance implications of 3d graphics
- Good understanding of maintaining a project with Git version control software or similar (Subversion, Perforce, Mercurial etc.)
- Some proficiency with image editing software, such as Photoshop or GIMP
- Compliance to best programming style standards with regards to notation, readability and maintainability of code
- A strong sense for principles of game design
