Team Nimbus is stepping up it's game - we're hiring!


We are looking for another games programmer to join our team in a full-time capacity until the 31st March 2022, with potential to continue as an ongoing role based on our income at the time.

This is a full-time position working remotely and offering a rate of US$30 per hour capped at US$4500 per month.


These key responsibilities are required:

  • 37.5 hours of work time per week
  • Proficiency of the English language in written & verbal skills
  • Must use Discord
  • Work autonomously and remotely via internet
  • Professionalism and discipline while representing Team Nimbus to the general public
  • Maintaining regular lines of communication with an international team of managers, artists and programmers during work hours
  • Streaming some of your work hours to the public via Piczel.tv


The most suitable candidate will fulfil most of the following selection criteria:

  • High level of proficiency & experience with the Unity3D game engine
  • High level of proficiency with C#, including familiarity with .NET or MONO libraries
  • High level technical understanding of C#-language specific features (including LINQ), writing optimal code for performance & memory management
  • High level technical understanding of underlying games technology, such as the graphics rendering pipeline & performance implications of 3d graphics
  • Good understanding of maintaining a project with Git version control software or similar (Subversion, Perforce, Mercurial etc.)
  • Good proficiency with image editing software, such as Photoshop or GIMP
  • Compliance to best programming style standards with regards to notation, readability and maintainability of code

Not that I'm applying (I already have a full time job), but "during work hours" should probably be more clearly specified. Does the team all "work at the same time" using a particular time zone or are the team members expected to simply ensure there is some overlap. I'm just thinking that if you mean "international" like our company means it, you've got teams working in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, which means some folks will have to be nocturnal to work concurrent hours.

Sounds nice. I do have a full tome job as someone said above, can‘t imagine how it could work with UTC+2 at mine 😅
