The idea for this is that if you kill too many of the monsters in a biome they'll become endangered, then extinct. Once that happens, a Boss event will be triggered. If you lose to the boss you get an instant "Bad Ending" if you beat the boss of this biome Chie may become more powerful.

If you just defeat regular hostile mobs (the ones that you don't capture or tame) and allow the special mobs to live, you'll get to encounter the boss but they'll reward you with something AND you can "play" with the special mobs without having to battle them (a type of gallery mode for abnormal sates)

I kinda sorta like this idea, but I feel it could be more refined. It's a good idea to let the player fight the same boss regardless of pathing for sure, but I would say maybe make it less 'endangered/extinct', and more 'frightened/total avoidance', still letting people do that content if they want to, but foes become more eager to just run away from battles, or instead of trying to sex/bind up, they go for more direct attacking. Just my 2 cents though.

I think mobs should try to "learn" from chie's actions. If chie is hunting lots of spiders (for example), they should be trying to stop her appearing in more numbers/putting traps or something similar (persona 5 mechanics, if u get caught too many times, the area security rises).
