Hey everyone,

This is an update on the state of the comics and what I’m looking to accomplish this year. You’ll notice we just had two full color comics come out! They’re available for all patrons. All linked at the bottom!

What I want to go over quickly, for those interested, are plans for the Growth Lab issues between issue 46 and issue 50. A few of you might know I’ve drawn around 2000 pages of art for those issues already. There are also what I now call "alternate versions" of issues 51 and 52 which are unreleased. The very long story short is I will be condensing and pulling all the art into one comic. That comic will be issue 50 of the Growth Lab. I have NO ESTIMATE on the length of that issue.

Issue 50 will be called Jubilee and it’s meant to answer where growth energy came from and what it was originally intended to do. I know a lot of you might not ever read those comics and that is fine. haha I will give you a spoiler if you just want to get to the heart of the Growth Lab energy. (I’ve mentioned this before but I’ll put it down on this post again)

***So, spoiler alert for issue 50 of the Growth Lab****

The very short version is aliens created energy and that energy (unintentionally) turns humans into giants (and females get breast expansion, giantess and female muscle growth, etc)

Growth Lab 50 will discuss this alien invasion. The growth energy is found to be extra-terrestrial. It was created by aliens and originally intended to modify lifeforms. Clearly, it does a version of that by causing people to grow. When this energy interacts with humans you get all the variants that we currently have. You get the battery type, the generator type, and things like Colette and her demon form and a bunch of other forms that haven’t been explored in the comics at this point. Basically, the alien energy causes a mutation in humans.

The alien race is called the Gargoyles and you probably have seen their one sheet and drawings in various one-off pages I shared with you. Their plan did not succeed. The original plan was to fire an alien spaceship loaded with (growth) energy and send it off to possible inhabited solar systems. The Gargoyles, at least in my head canon, would fire these probes off and wait for the results. A probe would come in contact with an alien life form and release its energy. The intended effect was to rewrite the lifeform at a cellular level and modify them to be gargoyles. Think of something like a werewolf or perhaps even the Hulk in terms of the transformation.

It would also be revealed the Gargoyles are telepaths. They can communicate audibly but they can also send messages from mind to mind. They have a version of a hive mind if enough of them are gathered in proximity. The hive mind can also send messages faster than light (via magical space stuff). Now this is all in my head canon and some of it might not hit the comic pages exactly as I am talking about it.

So, we have the Gargoyles. They send out probes and if their probes are successful lifeforms start getting converted to Gargoyles. Enough Gargoyles are converted in one local area and a long-range capable hive mind is activated. That hive mind attempts to reach out to other hive minds and create a giant web of alien knowledge and dominion. I never intended to dwell too much on the Gargoyles, their civilization and way they work. All this is back story to help me. The real driving force of the Growth Lab comics is always drawing fun transformations with ladies!

In the end of growth Lab 50 the current plan is to have the Gargoyle invasion quelled. It turns out generator types like Naomi create energy that effectively nulls or destroys gargoyles. Basically, a generator type could blast energy at somebody possessed by a gargoyle and it would clean out the gargoyle life form. Currently, as I’m thinking about it, this would only get rid of the gargoyle and not change the person’s underlying growth abilities.

And yes, there are some body horror transformations associated with the Gargoyles. That’s never been an intent turn the comic into something like a body horror comic. Mostly it’s me trying out new things and testing out ideas. The comics will always be about breast expansion, giantess art and as I can add in, female muscle growth. I’ve mentioned before the comics are really my way of learning new art techniques I apply to the animations and comics. There are some overarching plans for new storylines and I am working through those.

So Ready, what about issues 51 and 52?

That’s a good question, I did those to show people what the future after issue 50 might look like. I’m hoping everyone enjoyed those and liked checking out color comics. My intent is to continue with color comics after issue 50 but we shall see! Clearly, color comics will be shorter than 300 pages but you never know!

I hope you enjoyed that inside look at the comics and their future. If you have any comments or questions they are always welcome.

Thank you again for your support and I will talk with you soon.
