Changelog 

Focus this month was on bugfixes, ai tweaks, and balance changes.

For balance changes I tried to make early game easier. The player now has a small buff that will make them deal more and take less damage at early levels. Ego options are locked to a certain amount of levels gained, so you can’t accidentally get into fights that are too hard for you early on.

Stats will now have a greater effects on movement speed both on the overworld and in a fight. I was against letting you boost speed in the overworld because I thought it would pigeon hole most builds into taking legs or size and it would be harder to land exactly where you want to, but at the same time slow walking at big sizes looks ridiculous. We’ll see how this goes, if it doesn’t work out well I can always revert it.

The AI should be significantly more aggressive, last update they were using growth buffs too often even if they far outpaced the player’s size.

There is also a new trader you can find in the dungeon, she will sell you rare weapons like the size sword, cannon, red hot fetish at high prices. This way you won’t need to grind forever to get a specific item

Expect a hotfix Wednesday, after that I'm going to be on Christmas vacation. Have a happy holidays everyone.

I've downloaded the update twice. But When I try to open the folder, it keeps telling me it is not a valid .zip file. Anyone else having the same issue?

Try downloading it with the desktop app version of itch.io, I know sometimes the download messes up and using the app fixes it
