I'm putting up a poll for the next update for what features I should implement

I'm planning on adding a new area with hopefully a new boss since the last update lacked content. Other than that I've listed out a few things that I could possibly work on, so whichever gets the highest vote is what I will prioritize first

Also if you have suggestions please put them down in the comments below

Suggestion: Add a toggle for "fat" type. Default would be the way fat is currently handled (collecting all over the body), where toggled would just make it focused just on the belly, making it rounder, kinda like the current lich aspect. Additionally, to add to the "skill" system, there could be two types of skills to choose from for each part, E.G., if you add paw/foot growth, there could be a an option between "Stomp", which would causes more damage, but is slower to execute, causing the char to move last, or "Kick", which would cause less damage, but wouldn't be nearly as slow to execute.

I could try something where you could focus fat I would rather have innate skills be all different, having 2 different ones could create a lot of overlap

All very good ideas but there is only so much time in the day. Edit: Still want a "Surge" value for boosting character growth. Think associating it with weapon stats might be a good idea.

I would like to see a repeatable zone with some sort of boss, I think it would help the core gameplay loop so shuffling in grass doesn't become the only thing to do.

Will it be possible to become too big to enter a certain area, or get kicked out of an area if you outgrow it?

I think in the future I will have it work like that but I don't know when im going to implement it. I may try having combat take place in world vs a new map, so after I determine how that works I'll think about how to implement size.

My suggestion: There should be some rare/random events in the game, like when you found an item or place that triggers an event. The item/place makes your character grow too big to move or too small or you get stuck in a cave coz of the growth etc. and you could inplement some animation cinematics in there, where you can just watch the animation and after the event you must rest, or you lose some of your stats or gain some etc. Thats my silly idea. (my english is pretty bad sorry)

might be a fun idea, although if I do it I'm definitely keeping it a secret. Half the fun would be people finding it themselves

If I may suggest something, when you get to the equipment systems, perhaps we could get them as drops from enemies, and depending on the state it was in when you beat them is the state you got them. I'm thinking along the lines of what someone else said somewhere about being able to make your opponent outgrow their armor. If you beat them without growing them too much or them growing too much, you can get their armor in a very good condition. Grow them too much, and they'll damage their own armor, eventually breaking it. Going off of that, Weapon Durability would be interesting, where the weapon becomes less damaging the more it's used. Probably not outright breaking it, but having the Smith be able to repair them would be nice.

it would be interesting to have popping off armor mean that you cant get it as a drop. I'm not going to add durability though I don't think it really adds anything other than occasional annoyance

I had an idea just now... Would it be possible to add something in the enemy AI that says if an enemy's highest stat reaches a certain size threshold, it can't ever raise its own stats again? It would be one way to prevent a well-documented softlock from occurring in the game; one where if an enemy gets too big, it pushes against the player model and potentially off the map, softlocking the game. Would that help out any? That way it would give the player complete control over how much EXP they want to earn without risk of ruining hours of potential progress.

enemies shouldn't be able to push you anymore that was an unintentional side effect to the IK. I did however add some AI so that they wont just buff endlessly
