These are the basis for a comic character. We will use Harley Quinn as a model. The important thing is the real measurement, then we will see the anatomy.

A character is measured in heads.

8 heads tall is ideal. And 2 heads wide. These measurements may vary, but you must first know the basics.

Look where the height of the elbows and wrists is.

Look at the height of the knees and heels. Everything is measured in heads.

It is very important to spend time to draw a character with the basic measurements and understand them.

Even the most experienced artists use guide lines for their drawings. Sometimes I don't use them and I have anatomy or asymmetry flaws.

Over time you can draw with the measurements in mind, and you will have a more dynamic drawing.

Extra tip: Spend more hours drawing and don't be discouraged if you don't see results quickly.

In the next tip we will see the profile and back proportions :3

I attach a PNG file with the basic rule if you want to use it.
