this is a guess but I think the winning pairs get to pick someone from the pool of elimination candidates to form a trio for the 3rd round (priority by highest scores) so in total 10 will be eliminated from round 2. and then it's 5 x 3v3 with half getting eliminated in round 3 yiiiikes

I think what solar means on the 'I don't love you' performance by it being ordinary and that they have no charms is that it felt like just another good cover of the song? like they didn't really make the song 'theirs' i guess is what she meant by it being ordinary and that they should show more of their charms. like it was good, flawless, but it wasn't like, memorable i guess

been a just b fan since debut but I also agree with you on geonu style of singing.. (and dancing actually lol) his mouth movement is super small.., his shoulders and body looks very stiff and tense to me too.. I don't know if you remember but he was critized with lack of facial acting / expressions on I Land. If you watch Just B's live stages his mouth doesn't even look like he's singing his lines lol..

Man the kick it performance was bad….. like you can make a song competitive. Like a song like this can be really difficult and challenging but a great way to showcase your talent. if you’re really good, you can adjust the vocal arrangements and tones instead of keeping it strictly to the original song. Bc when there’s no special effects and dancing and beats, you have to make the vocal the star and have the vocal amke you want to dance. That’s why it’s so difficult but huge pay off if you do it well. There’s so many good moments in the song they could have push to make ppl stand up. But they went into a shaky falsetto. The tempo was off at times as well. That was very crunchy. Like these songs, bc the beat and tempo will be fast and quick and you’re singing a 4 parts song with two ppl, you have to be able to switch notes and range super quick and precise for it to sound good. Unlike a ballad where there’s a steady build and you have a few seconds to swerve up to the notes. You have to accurately jump the range with an upbeat song like this and do it full power to match the impact of the beat behind you bc there’s no dancing or auto tune to create the drama. Your voice has to do the work. That’s why songs like this in my opinion can be so much more challenging to nail than a ballad. I was waiting to see more of these types of song after last ep but these two kinda fumbled on this one. I think their vocals and technique couldn’t handle the difficulty level that a song like this needed to shine. They thought this was their comfort zone but without the production and striped down to the vocal, these songs is much much more difficult than a typical ballad. They can’t blame the song tbh for me

I'm just gonna comment about the show me the money joke because they do it all the time There is a lengendary round in show me the money called the diss battle and some performances there became viral because they really don't restrain themself. Also you were entertained with swf because they are more real and Show me the money is more than that

Yeah..Jeff you told you remember the song sung by ryeowookx sohee in SMTOWN somewhere right...It is from this episode where trainees yunsoe and yeonwoo sung the same song "little prince" actually its the difficult song to cover due to song structure.It may be more for these trainees to express the song..
