Omg. ANYONE who likes amazing vocals here should watch this show. This is INSANE.

For those that don't know what this show is:

It's an Mnet survival show to form a 4-member vocal boy group. It's basically Boys Planet/Produce but vocals only. Lots of familiar faces!

I recommend reacting to One Pact’s other songs. They have other music that is amazing. It would be nice if you react to those. ☺️ I am proud of One Pact because so many 2nd gen fans really loved the debut because it feels nostalgic. I think I personally liked it because it is different. The market is so saturated with hiphop boygroup songs and powerful noise music (which I love)…but it was nice to see something different. Their EP is really good. It is full of a mix of RnB, pop, and some harder music. They have three other performance MV’s that you might like more. TAG produced majority of their music - one song. ☺️ My favorite song on the EP is “Rush into You”. It also has a MV that Jongwoo directed Also really excited to watch this show. I love vocals in kpop (majority of aMy biases are main vocals.) 😂

watching build up mainly for Eunkwang (i think he will be strict in this one i hope he doesn't get evil edited 😭) but also i am seated for jay and everyone's vocals as someone who likes amazing vocals and harmonies. It's nice to watch this again with you!

I'm so happy for this one There are a lot of amazing singer on the show but I am mainly here for donghun, I'm voting for him Them showing mixnine clips was quite emotionnal, if the final group had debuted they would have been one of the best group ever ( I kinda want to watch mixnine again now) Actually Jeup was in an idol group named Imfact after his I can see your voice performance. They had an amazing discography it's sad it didn't last long And for the guy in the first group that you remember from produce 101 he was also in peaktime in the group BDC

I had no idea you watched ONE PACT's Must Be Nice music video, thanks for the recap. It's too bad you didn't get to watch or react to their pre-debut performance videos for Hot Stuff '멋진 거' (a hard hitting fusion of Stray Kids, ATEEZ, early EDM meets hip hop with a little R&B bridge of Jay singing in a hauntingly beautiful way) and G.O.A.T (which highlights every member), or their self-made video for RUSH IN 2 U that is an R&B type ballad Jongwoo directed and edited. TAG, their main rapper, produced 5 of their 6 songs. There was some discussion on what should be their Title track, as Must Be Nice was not originally considered the title track. All of the videos as seen in succession of release paint the best picture of ONE PACT as a group. More importantly, my favorite songs on this no skips Moment album are Illusion (my favorite, can't get out of my head) and Loading, which don't even have an MV yet but are very compelling and memorable songs.

So someone did mention it but Seongjun in the first group that you recognized from PRODUCE also was in PEAK TIME since he was in BDC (they unfortunately disbanded some times after, which suck, hate their agency). From BOYS PLANET : Jay, Wumuti (god have mercy on me as a Wumuti fan, he will never stop doing survival show), Hwanhee (fun fact : one of his member from UP10TION aka Sunyoul is also in BUILD UP) Also Jay and Wumuti doing their third survival show together is kind of funny (Bain was also with them in the survival show UNDER19) PEAK TIME : Bitseon, Taehwan (funny how both were next to each others) and Seongjun Actually you also know Jeup not just from just the clip of I Can See Your Voice, he was also one of the best vocalist in THE UNIT Someone mentionned DAY6, it's Im Junhyeok, an ex-member, he also auditionned in THE UNIT back then. Hyukjin (left guy in the last group) was actually from the group 100%, senior to Hwanhee (because they were in the same agency before), he did participate in THE UNIT too but Rokhyun was the most popular in it. There is KNK’s Jeong Inseong, he was also in MIXNINE with Donghun, definitely an amazing vocalist Choi Suhwan (PRODUCE X101) and Kang Hayoon from what I heard participated in LOUD (survival where Haruto and Seunghwan from BOYS PLANET participated)

TBH, I first heard about this show because of JAY. But omgg I also didn't expect to see SO MANY familiar faces here!! It's so hard to pick my Top 4 now 🥹 from The Unit, BP, Produce, Peak Time, 😭 Also, woww the amount of JAY screentime tho?? It's even almost longer than what he got for the whole BP show. HAHA I still have trust issues with Mnet but I really do hope they treat him better now.

The singer Junhyeok used to be a Day6 member. He left after the first mini because of a scandal. He was the pianist and was in their video Congratulations. He was leaking his Day6 schedule to his girlfriend. It's not because he was dating but because he wasn't safe about who he chose to date because she was broadcasting everything about the group.

i was also not able to find any source to watch this for the past few days, so thank you for going through that hassle so that we can watch it 💖 SO MANY contestants here are ppl i’m fans of: seokhwa from wei (producex101), jay, seunghun, seongjun from BDC (Peaktime), Bitsaeon from MONT (Peaktime), Jeup from IMFACT (The Unit), Bain & Geonu from JUSTB, Suhwan (Produce x101) so so many that i can’t vote for just 4, i’m just gonna enjoy watching it lol that performance you said you watched many times from i can see your voice, he’s je-up from the group imfact and participated in the unit

Yes I’m glad you are watching this, I’ve been wanted to see it but I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I’m definitely going to check it with you Also, you should react to one pact GOAT the song is very different than the title track, I also think it could have been a better title, because it’s more impactful. However I really like the tittle, indeed I love it. But I totally understand your point on the song, I think many people thought like you. Maybe it wasn’t like the best debut song

I am happy to see TAEWHAN from Vanner here and perfect timing since Vanner’s comeback Jackpot and 2nd Mini Album Capture the Flag comes out tomorrow. Also I would love to vote, but it is difficult for me to decide because there are so many talented and amazing Vocalists, and I am glad we get to vote for 4, but I honestly would be voting for all of them if I could. I don't think you'd react to it since it's a few years old but I think you'd really like JTBC's Superband. Sort of like this show but less MNET style drama and it's instrumentalists and vocalists trying to form a band. The members switch up every round and depending on who gets picked when sometimes you'll get groups with like 3 guitarists or like a just one drummer, a bassist, and a singer. But everyone is so talented they make it work

I am obsessed with Jeup’s I Can See Your Voice performance! I have been watching that everyday recently. I really liked him on The Unit and I liked a lot of Imfact’s songs too. I really hope this show goes well for him, he deserves more recognition. Honestly a lot of the contestants deserve more recognition.

OMG such an eargasm ♥ great performance after another!!!! I think nowadays I'd prefer a soulful voice or a unique voice, but still, it depends on the song choice. I wonder if they would choose more upbeat or dance songs for later rounds. Since the competition aims to form a vocal group, of course, it has to be songs that can portray the contestants' singing abilities, but it doesn't necessarily always be ballads and slow songs, right?

A few dance practices I really think you would enjoy is: Matthew and Hanbin’s blindfold Performance Gunwook and Hanbin’s Tutting Performance AAA Performance Dance Break Yujin’s MAMA Solo Dance Jiwoong and Gunwook’s Dance Break If you don’t have time to record a reaction to the dance practices, you should still check them out on your own time. You will surely enjoy it!!

Watching this show as a boy group fan made me realise just how many of these guys I know haha, so I relate to those initial moments where you were so surprised at getting so many names right! Even just from watching survival shows, all the way from Mixnine/The Unit to Produce to Boys Planet/Peak Time, I feel like you basically end up knowing all the idols on this show at least, if not some of the non-idol soloists as well somehow. That also makes it so much harder because I'm rooting for all of them to succeed! Some of them have been my favourites for years (Jeup, Donghun) and some are more recent favourites, but I love them all. I just want the best for all of them, and it saddens me that some of them have to keep going back on this survival show grind. I'm really happy this is a vocal-focused show, because recently much as I liked Boys Planet I did not like the fact that vocals were not being highlighted as much as I could have wished for even though they had some really talented contestants. Peak Time was a little better but it was a group show than an individual one. Generally the trend in the kpop scene seems to have been favouring dance over vocals from the 4th gen, but it means that some great vocalists haven't been able to shine as much as they should. So I'm happy to see them being highlighted here at last, and both the participant and the judges' lineup is so stacked! That Don't Go, Don't Go stage is my favourite so far - I couldn't pick just one person from that group! Hyukjin from the group FAVE1 is actually from the boy group 100%, who redebuted as FAVE1 after their initial unfortunate disbandment. Rockhyeon from the same group (who's not in this show) was in The Unit along with Jeup, and is one of the best vocalists I've ever heard. Rooting for all of these guys!

unrelated but are you doing any new drama soon? I know none of our favorite boys have smt going on in terms of fun drama but I was wwondering if you're open to wathcing marry my husband. It's iconic and funny as well as sad at times. Its a cathartic type of show and I think you would enjoy it. Even tho there is no big idols, but lee gi gwang who play a 2nd/3rd male lead is a former B2ST member and now their group is called Highlight.

Jay Chang. I just can’t. When he sings songs he is highlighted in and can showcase the unbelievable soul slides he does… it’s does me in. I am no longer. Just a ghost. As soon as they announced the “groupings” (all around/soul/power/unique) I knew the second they said soul Jay was going to show up there. I really think he has something no one else has. That last group was stunning. I did NOT envy the judges having to pick just one. I could not.

I love the concept of this show that it’s not for the typical pop fans per se but can you blend and build a team well with the voices and songs provided or do I wanna sing with them cause I blend with them or be them. a common theme we might see is what is the difference between an idol main vocalist and a trained vocalist. As well as what is the sound scape to target the Korean masses like how they did a trot and band survival show. Also I think how the show is edited is very fast since they already released the blind videos so the contestants might’ve listened to the full vs the edits.

I’m a sucker for vocals so this is up my alley. Last group with neon and donghun, I mean take my money they can really debut like that. In that song the suit guy probably the weakest, imagine him being the weakest it just makes the performance epic. So glad for this show, I know who neon is now, I love him. The only thing that worries me is will there be audience voting here.? I mean all are good vocalist but some are cut above the rest and if there will be percentage of voting, definitely idols or known people will have an advantage. Love it or not, that’s just facts.

Je Up was also in The Unit (also a survival show) can't remember if you already reacted to it. If you didn't then you should watch it a lot of vocal gems there as well. Also Mixnine where Donghun appears as well and where the most iconic verbal comeback came from and one of the funniest memes haha
