I agree with you that the flirtation between Chae Ah and the uncle doesn't really make sense, lmao, but the parents said that they had only been courting for a week or so. So, I think the "joke" is that she didn't even notice that he couldn't talk because she's only focused on herself and the presents he buys her lol. They probably texte, and then she didn't notice him not speaking when they met in person lol.

I hadn't quite put the thought together, but what you said about her seeming tired and not quite as into her man as she should be did resonate with me. Not just in the romance scenes, but she felt a little too subdued for a webtoon character who has broken a centuries-old family curse with her true love, lmao. I think the peak energy for their romance was eps 8 - 10, and then maybe too much focus on the past lives drained the present a bit? IDK, but Eunwoo killed it! I hope he doesn't totally throw romance dramas away after this one, because I adore his melo eyes.

i'm not the writers knew how to finish the series and decided to give us filer in anime terms. it was very messy and i kinda wish the editors had gone over the story with a better eyes. i wanted the mountain spirit to give the family closure of terms of saying sorry for the generational trauma caused.

yeaaa. my friend said they had no chemistry from the very beginning. i didn’t mind it there because she really didn’t like eunwoo but near the end and especially the finale, it shouldve shown much more. if we watch ep 1 and ep 14 after the other, there’s no big difference in her portrayal 😂

The ending is a little scrambled together. However, The energy between eunwoo and this actress itself is literally so natural. Like some casual cheek kiss scene felt unscript.. I know we root for the demon couple to date in real life but lOL Eunwoo and Haena actress are wayyyy more sus lol I love their kiss scene but they definitely put more kiss scenes than the story needed. Hahah if they date irl I would not be surprised 😂. In a way I feel like if they’re actually dating, I understand that she’s restrained her performance to not make it obvious may be. LOL my delulu brain aside, I do know after watching a few drama w this actress that her style of expressing love and emotions are quite reserved. Idk why. Like she does a lot of expressions well but the heads over heels sparkling puppy dog eyes is not her forte. She gives more of a cool girl reserved expression in her romantic scene. This works well for her when her character are doing over the top actions bc it kept it from getting cringey but when her character are in the fluffy expressive loving phase, it didn’t translate as well. In her past roles I’ve seen (celebrity and it’s ok not to be ok), this style suit her introverted character but for Hae Na in this show, I agree she needed to be more expressive and vibrant near the end.

I can somewhat agree with the friend, I def think something was missing. But I do think they had their moments here and there. To me, he still had the best chemistry with moon kayoung in true beauty so far though. Something I've noticed is that the actresses he works with are always a few years older than him except in true beauty, and for some reason I feel like its somewhat obvious and affects the chemistry. They have a more mature vibe than him so something doesn't quite click. But maybe that's also just me.

Yeah I think this episode wasn't really needed. They didn't really wrap the story up well, it was just a bunch of random stuff thrown together. I agree with you the actresses performance was a little lacking. Maybe this kind of romance just isn't her strong suit. Overall it was still a cute drama.
