I was the opposite as well- I loved Ireahs voice more in Team 7! I bought the song and his voice on the track to me sounds so much nicer than the other guy!

David

I was honestly so gutted for team 23. I was rooting for them from the beginning 😞

Honestly? Even if you don't react to wild Idol, you should watch it. I think you would love it because a ton of what critism you had with PT and BP are an actual focus in Wild Idol!

Jenn BL

Also in my opinion, team 24 has the best song in the final!

Fun fact: Jay from Boys Planet, is from Team 20’s company, and the company has planned to have more boys to join Team 20. So there is rumour that Jay is one of the new boys. But I don’t know if the plan is still going or suspended

Yay I'm glad you're back to this! I hope the move has been going well. Some thoughts as I watch as usual: With Team 2 / NTX I didn't really like the song so I couldn't say much, but their performance won me over and the story they showed was great. They really accomplished their goal of endearing them to the audience (at least, to me) even after all the endless skrrtts. They uploaded some vlogs of them in Busan - they really did take that trip! - and it's very cute how close they seem to be. Team 20 are actually originally a 3-member team! So when you commented that the distribution feels incomplete, it makes a lot of sense. The third guy is a vocalist (and also raps sometimes) so that would have balanced it in terms of Bitsaeon having to sing the whole thing - he looked exhausted in the live performance, I thought the recording was much better. Narachan, the third member, couldn't join Peak Time unfortunately as he was just being discharged from the military when the Survival Round was starting, so the timing was unfortunate. He's been supporting these two on the show though! Team 24 - the guy who left has actually denied the allegations of school violence/bullying and has sued for damages. Not sure what the outcome of that will be. It's a very unfortunate situation and I agree that their performance was not great but better than just 4 picks. I think their nervousness really got to them because of the lack of preparation time in the new formation. They're all so experienced though and Byungjoo, who hasn't been given much spotlight in the show before sadly, really stood out for me. Team 11 - I love them, I'm so glad this show made me discover them. It's also so nice to see more members being spotlighted (Easier to do in a 5-member group than a group like NTX or BAE173 for sure, but still). Taehwan's vocals are absolutely insane for sure. He actually reminds me of a Cube vocalist - Cube also has insane vocal reputation (BTOB and Pentagon are the ones I'm most familiar with). I agree that the song being a perfect fit for them helped them stand out. Team 7 - I think they're actually my favourites from this whole show. I love the combination of their vocal tones (it's wild that they weren't even main vocals in the original group!) This song is actually my favourite from this round, and the performance was a great surprise - I also loved the break in the middle where they interacted with the audience. I agree that Ireah stood out more to me than Heejae in this round - I disagree that Ireah wasn't seen much. Maybe it's the difference in styling + the fact that Heejae got a couple of the more flashy moves. But they've said that they love the fact that people are discovering them more and more, even if it's through Heejae, because they don't have internal competition with each other and they need each other to balance themselves out, which is a great mindset. My personal favourite overall performance was either Team 11 or Team 7, or Team 23 (and maybe also Team 8) from League B. But in terms of songs that I've been listening to, I also really like Team 15 (excellent vocals on that, actually - it's a shame the performance was a bit too high for their range).

Some additional Episode 10 thoughts: Team 14 / GHOST9 has a member you might be familiar with - Jinwoo! He was a contestant on Produce X, and fairly popular. He was also one of the ones confirmed to have been rigged out (at the elimination just before the final top 20). Every time I think about how things went down for all the Produce trainees it makes me so angry lol but anyway, GHOST9 are a really great group and have some pretty good songs. They used to be 9 members, and now 7 (a couple of the others were also Produce X contestants, though they didn't get very far). Junhyung - the guy you like and for good reason haha - and Junseong (the guy whose vocals were amazing in that legendary My Sea performance) are great, as are the others. Team 15 / BLK are one of those groups that you can't help but root for, man. Actually, a former member of BLK (who didn't participate in Peak Time) was also a contestant on Produce X 101 - Kang Hyeonsu! He was also fairly popular at the start of that season. It broke my heart every time they talked about how things were for them, almost like it's a fact that they've accepted - sudden disbandment, having to leave the industry and find jobs, Taebeen announcing it on the fancafe himself, them being so surprised and touched to see a fan supporting them in their performance (in Episode 8) who's been there from the start. They've also been so sweet and supportive, and the wide-ranging friends they already had in this show was great, from their pre-debut connections with Team 11 that they showed in this episode as well as them mentioning how Ilkyung and Ireah from Team 7 have been university friends for ages too. I really want the best for them in the future. That leaders talk was actually really sweet. I only casually followed BAE173 until this show so seeing that Hangyul had suddenly become the leader instead of Junseo was a bit of a surprise. After everything he's been through, that man deserves the whole world and more. I also really loved how supportive DKB are of each other. This show has given me such a huge appreciation for them and their team dynamics - I've been looking into more content from them, and they're so great. Both leaders really have to be commended for that. They're having a comeback soon, by the way! I hope the exposure on this show benefits them, they really are too good of a team to not explode more.

COMMENT FOR EPISODE 9 : TEAM 2:00 / NTX They are definitely one of the team I think grew the most with PEAK TIME. I feel like for them it was a great experience and really beneficial. They learned a lot You were talking about Japan, the thing is, often groups who are very little in popularity tend to go to Japan (example : 24K / BXB who were in the show) but also not comeback from it since Japan is better for them so it's kind of good but not. I personnally like CIRCUIT and the performance maybe I would have see a bigger dancebreak ? But it's actually a song I'm playing often right now. NTX is also promoting CIRCUIT on music show since one week ago maybe? You were talking about their fans, I think they have less fans than some groups here but from what I have saw/heard by watching CIRCUIT on music show is that their fans have the same energy as them, one person was screaming at the top of their lungs in a performance, they are loud and I love that from fans. The thing about Shim Jaewon comment about "young energy" is I feel like NTX can't have the good middle ground, because from what I saw at some point they got criticized by some viewers for being too hype and now that they calmed down just a little bit it's not enough. They can't really have a good ground if people say one thing and the other another, it must be hard TEAM 20:00 You joking about a third member when they actually have one is soo funny 😂 You have Bitseon more on the singing part, Roda on the rap and Narachan (the third member) is kind of the middle, he balance the group well. He is also know as the stan attractor and that's my bias. I actually like the song,on, since I have my examen right now, it's also a song i'm playing on Spotify when I'm studying it's so nice to heard and Bitseon vocal are just amazing. It's just sad it wasn't 50/50 but they couldn't change it. TEAM 24:00 You were mentionning the space, I think it's because of Hyungjae, they left a space a bit. Byungjoo the one you said was a good dancer, he was the second soloist introduced in the dance position with Jongup,, I actually think both really match when it's come to dance so it's really nice to have both of them in the team. (Byungjoo was in THE UNIT, he did the dance performance STAY + Chained Up with Hangyul) For the breathing distribution, I feel like olders groups are really good with this because before they had less backtrack to cover them back then, you just have to watch B.A.P live when they debuted, you can heard them so clearly on Music Show which now it's less the case. So I feel like that may explain why they are really good with it (Byungjoo group debuted in 2013, B.A.P 2012, Heedo group 2013 only Gon is more recent like 2019). I'm glad they are praising Jongup vocal because he is so good and I need people to tell him more often. I still remember when B.A.P debuted and he had so little, he was doing more the breakdance part with B-BOY, there were people laughing about him saying he was a back dancer. So I'm grateful he get to shine more and more everyday Heedo deserve a big up, he had to take all the rap part by himself and relearn one, he worked that well Happy you commented on Shim Jaewon commentary because he actually got critized for it, a lot of people didn't like the result for TEAM 24:00 I won't lie to you, my timeline twitter was in fire, because it felt like they had to take accountability for a missing member when it wasn't their fault, it's like the view was very biaised a bit here. Not to add, I didn't like the fact they were putting feeling on the group "they don't look.." etc because you don't know? They just knew a member left and put it that way. Also for the backup dancers, I feel like they mostly gave it to trio/duo, I'm not sure if TEAM 24:00 could have ask for it? TEAM 11:00 The rap part were done by Gon (new bias since I started stanning TEAM 11;00 after the show) and Ahxian (deep voice). Taehwan is phenomenal, he is in my TEAM 11:00 bias line too. I learned a thing about them, they actually look at videos taken by fans and with the fans videos from their performance, they comment on it about what they could have done better, what they need to pay attention next time. They are so great. TEAM 7:00 I also thought Ireah suited the song better so I didn't get what the judges were talking about. I think it was a song that really suited him the most. DOESN'T MATTER is a bit too repetitive when I watch it with the performance but It's really enjoyable to listen to without the performance aspect. Almost every songs are on Spotify, PEAK TIME have playlist for it, really recommend listening to the songs without the performances, a lot of them are really good also the eliminated groups have their songsthey prepared from R3 on it, recommend checking them out.

EP 10 COMMENT : TEAM 23 / THE BOSS Honestly it's a shame they had to leave. I think they still had a fanmeeting (?) I don't know if it was in Japan or Korea GON-JONG-GYUL SEGMENT The different cooking skill are showing, it's so funny how people reacted at Jongup trying to cook when I'm not even surprised, he is a sunbae here but in B.A.P he was part of the maknae line and it was mostly the olders members cooking for them I don't think they met the parents but a lot of parents have their favorite, especially TEAM 11:00 family, ( Hyesung's mom → Hangyul / Ahxian's mom → Heejae / Ahxian's dad → Jongup ) They actually did the busking but in normal outfits since it was in the street, we protect innocent eyes, there is a behind of BAD BUSKING, there were a lot of people It's the fact, both Hangyul and Gon still have Jongup griptok and use it frequently helppp. Jongup and Hangyul did wear the GonJongGyul bad guy shirt during "BAD" practice (for the concert i suppose) but Gon didn't and he became the bad guy. You were talking about TEAM 24:00 They have their schedule as group and their own thing. TEAM 24:00 created a new song with a friend of Jongup who is producer for the concert, TEAM 24:00 also had a fanmeeting with the fans, Heedo and Jongup did a photoshoot together, they often do live on IG or two of them do a live and the others two popup. Right now, Heedo had schedule with his own group, he had a concert in Oman (Middle East), Jongup have a fanconcert coming up and now brand ambassador of Louis Quatorze, all of this since he found a new agency (MA ENTERTAINMENT, All the artists in MA entertainment are artists who were in SING AGAIN also produced by PEAK TIME producer and JTBC), Byungjoo is on tiktok sometime he is dragging the whole team to do it, Gon is surnamed the fan manager BEHIND SCENE BLK / TEAM 11:00 PEAK TIME have a lot of behind the scene playlist, actually a lot thought the only shame for PEAK TIME was that they should have put more behind since there are a lot of it on Youtube. I think them not having their name was a bad choice, the concept is cool since it was linked to PEAK TIME for sure but if you want to highlight them it would have been better for them to have their original name revealed from the start LEADER SECTION : Lune is actually Moon in French since you liked the word I won't lie it's true not every NTX members got highlight but actually I got interested in a lot of NTX members like the two leader (Hyeongjin, Yunhyeok,) , Jaemin (orange hair), Rawhyun (rapper, highlighted as producer, he actually released a song with J-MIN) and also the youngest ( Seongwon) GHOST9 Honestly, if you want a bright GHOST9 song UP ALL NIGHT is so good Junhyung seem to do a lot of lives on Youtube also his english 10/10 Honestly you could have an interview with your man and his group easily if an opportunity come at you since they did it with a lot of reactors (JREKML, ReacttotheK, FO Squat Kpop) I hope they get the chance to comeback with a really good songs BLK Their history is heartbreaking and i'm so glad they had the opportunity to comeback on stage. Right now, they had a fanmeeting, Inho had some photoshoot I think, same for Taebeen, Taebeen was also at REDSTART fanmeeting (Junhyeon, Woojin, Keonhee, Minseong from BOYS PLANET)not too long ago, he might have also train them like some others BOYS PLANET trainees. They actually went to Peak Time concert for the last team, very supportive of the others groupes NTX They did promote CIRCUIT on music show with challenge on tiktok done. They really went to Busan and posted a vlog, they also had a fanmeeting I think? Some BAE173 went to it. They often post some dance practice from what I saw PEAK TOUR They finished Seoul, they are going to Busan (I think the Busan one is sold out if i'm not wrong), they also announced international tour starting with Taipei but the problem for the international tour is that it seem like not all TOP6 can go? (from what it was said). For Taipei they have TEAM 11:00, TEAM 20:00 and TEAM 7:00 I followed all the concert mostly with the fancams but for the last day they had a online stream however they were a lot of lag and I don't think they were subtitle (by the way if you want the concert : https://mega.nz/file/wDwAVSTC#0yWkyW7GhPfhi2IoQIz20q2ZNtJFTLTKjkMhlQK_N-g ) TALKING FRIENDSHIP : A lot of them still see each others, there isn't a day where I don't think one of the group mentionning each others. NTX promoted at the same time as ATBO so they took pictures and did challenge, DKB were also promoting so same on this one, BLIZTER also met on music show with others, they are going to each others event, Heejae flirting with Heedo on IG etc PEAK TIME concert at the end was also so much fun when they were together on the stage because they are all so close
