Thank you for another reaction Seventeen. Hoshi did an amazing job to cover Seungkwan’s part in the MCOUNTDOWN performance. Seventeen never ever disappoints, and once again they have a no skip album. I love love FML so so much. It is like I am listening to SEVENTEEN’s inspirational story from where they have started and ups and down they have experienced to where they are now of wanting to keep on growing. I am so so proud of Seventeen. Seventeen FML went to #1 Billboard Artist 100, #2 Billboard 200, #1 Billboard Top Selling Album, #1 Billboard Current Top Selling Album, and I Don’t Understand But I LUV U, Dust, April Shower, and Super Landed in Top 10 Billboards Hot Trending Song with I Don’t Understand But I Luv U being #1. A beautiful and inspirational MV inspired by The Truman Show for a beautiful and inspirational song FML. Learning Super corresponds with FML. Woozi is an excellent storyteller when it comes to songwriting and producing. Woozi has revealed and said Super is the answer to FML. I love the hot and fiery energy I absorb from Fire. Hip Hop Team always slays. Hoshi and Dino did an amazing job with the co-writing with Woozi for I Don’t Understand But I Luv U. Hoshi is so cute. The fact Hoshi got the inspiration for I Don’t Understand But Luv U from a Carats comment. It is like Seventeen and Carats may speak and write in many different languages, but our love for one another are the same. Dino has said I Don’t Understand But I Luv U was produced as the Second part of Lilili Yabbay. I love love the 80s vibe I get from Dust. Dust puts me in a happy mood after one listen. I love love April Shower so much. It is a perfect song for Spring.

Agreed with your thoughts for the most part! I really liked the Super live performances, they added to the sense of scale that the song has while being performed. There were 200 carats at the M Countdown pre-recording! Dino has really been standing out for me! It's sad that Minghao is still recovering from his collarbone injury, but those few seconds he has are so impactful. Your point about the difference in perspective from the view angle was interesting. FML has such a lovely message, although I wish it had a bridge and final chorus, too. The MV has references to The Truman Show, with all of them being constantly watched (the office cams, DK finding the hidden camera in the lamp, the parking lot cams etc.) and the theme was about breaking away from that pressure from the constant scrutiny to find yourself. And SVT being SVT had the final scenes be about all of them coming together and being happy. I found the MV really interesting, and their comeback stages, especially at Inkigayo, were so heartwarming. The contrast between FML and Super as the double title tracks was so interesting, because FML is about that sadness of not being able to make it whereas Super is them celebrating that they've made it. FML also has the line about how 'when i was younger I wondered why I couldn't be like the characters in the cartoons (the right translation would be anime/manga that they were referencing actually)' and Super has the line about 'this is the cartoon's ending song'! Vernon's lines in Fire in particular are great! I can definitely see this being performed live too, would be a banger. I Don't Understand But I Luv You would also have a very cool, sexy live performance, can't wait! Fun fact: the title actually comes from a line that a carat had commented on one of their vlives last year and Hoshi was so touched by it and then went to Woozi to ask for it to be included in a song. At least they all know how we feel when we watch without subtitles lol I think I do agree that Dust would have benefited from a final chorus, though maybe not a key change. Nonetheless, I like the melody a lot. April Shower is such a sweet sentimental song, in classic Seventeen fashion. They have a lot of such healing songs and they always hit so hard. Their discography is really varied and has a lot of gems, I definitely highly recommend checking it out in full!

To think FML is SEVENTEEN’s first comeback of 2023, and as soon as they get back to South Korea from their 2023 Japan’s Fan Meeting in Osaka, I would not be surprised if they begin to work on their second comeback as our dearest General Alpha Leader S.Coups revealed, announced, and spoiled at Carat Land.
