Hi Jeff, Love your reaction and thought. I love this drama with all plot twists and harm to brain logic. About the decision of DO JUN when I come to the lawyer girlfriend, I think it's not because he don't want his aunt go to jail. Because he know her in the future as a rightful lawyer, stay just to the law and do not be affected by money, he know if she handle this case, she won't be bought by Soonyang' money or power. She will try her best to find out the truth. If anybody else accept this case, maybe they can exchange information with the grandpa, the uncles or aunt for power support or money. More over, Do Jun know that in case of his aunt, she only do embezzlement, no other crime, so she just need to sell the share to him or loose money by other mean (but still in this case shows that she is not good enough to inherit the whole Soonyang, she'll obvious out of the game). Their's no benefit if she go to jail anyway, so no need for him to push the case further. When it comes to revenge, no matter if the revenge comes late, this makes your opponent relax and show their weakness, that's how Do Jun do. 1st, he release the new of the New Data share to his uncle (who currently hold the investment analyze corporation) for him to jump into the game first, then with this move, the aunt believe that the rumor Miracle said is true to invest into it. A very detailed plan. Just that all Do Jun movements are only bail and rumor trap for other to jump into, he not stab them on their back himself like assassin them, kill them, fraud them..... Compare to other family members, he's a real angel, too kind. If someone has the money and power like Soonyang's family, they may find someone to kill the most competitive rivals, then it's all game over, no need to go roundabout like this.

Hi Jeff! I love watching this drama and how it makes my brain work lol. I read some articles saying that the Chairman's character was inspired by anecdotes about the founder of Samsung Group. So, basically Soonyang Group is inspired by Samsung, while Daeyung Group has some similarities with Hyundai. It is soo interesting to see such references in this drama, love it!

I signed to your patreon only so I could watch this show with you and it's being so fun lol! I'm obssessed with this show, it's so smart and well scripted, just like you my brain seems to run in circles all the time trying to understand the plot lol anyway glad I did signed bc there's a lot of fun reactions! (forgive my poor english skills, I'm from Brazil and I usually exercise my abillities by watching this kinda of reactions such as movies and tv shows lol)
