So basically, what they're filming on the first part were for the teasers/trailers that they released before this show was aired and as well as for the upcoming MV that they will release soon. They recorded an OST for this show and so they made an MV for that (accdg to them)! Additionally, from what I understood, they were only informed that they will shoot those on that day, not knowing that the "Analog Trip" will already start. HAHAHA (honestly Idc if it's scripted or not. I'll just watch whatever content they gave us 😂💚) Prior to this, they also released an interview session with the Producers of the show and as well as the members. They discussed the concept and what has changed on the show from the original concept because of the Covid situation. So yeah I guess they would have probably done this in other country if there's no Covid. Here's the link btw: https://youtu.be/TGpPUh_9MHA it's also on NCT 127 YT channel. 13mins+ ☺️💚

I also feel like this show was half-scripted. (definitely the scenarios and plot were scripted) 😂 Like, I guess the members already know the plot and all BUT except, their dialogues were their own and for the missions they have to solve everything themselves. HAHAHAHA kind of reminds me of the korean show "Busted".

Levi Shanne

It seems like each season of Analog Trip has its own concept. In the previous season with TVXQ and Super Junior, they also made a song and a music video. Their concept was going back in time or something like that. I guess it's a bit different for NCT 127 but I can see that the cinematography is still *chef's kiss *. BTW, Jeff, that's a fancy hotel you're staying at lol

freya valykrie

Yeah! This is like Busted on Netflix. The storyline is scripted but the challenges and the problem solving are real.

Jeff, I hope you can also react to EXOs Ladder. It's very funny and you will learn their personality.

I love the mix of reality and the sitcom vibe. You can feel there is a script when it comes to what is the general idea and the treasure hunt, but the reactions and the dialogues are natural and made in the moment. It feels like Busted which is a Korean Netflix Mystery and Puzzle solving show, and this show has the same vibe, which is scripted but only for the theme of the show, the other part is made as they go by the cast. I agree it would have been fun if they were actually stranded but hahahahaha having a comeback a month away which was Sticker I don’t think it would have been ideal lmao. The production and the editing is insane, and I can’t wait to see what else happens, I find it cute and goofy and entertaining at the same time, which feels something only 127 can pull off.

It mentioned in the began filming in June, they were probably on the island a day or more before Save dropped. The VLive they did the day before where they played mafia again proved that.

Sara Espinosa Amorós

I know I know hahahaha I remember the vlive, the point still stands tho, they were preparing for the comeback and this is not Law of the Jungle, so it makes sense it’s more of a sitcom type of show that has scripted pieces.

There are some parts that are scripted because other wise it would be hard to get the camera men in place and out of sight while at the same time get good footage of them, They were probably told to act as though the camera crew and drones weren't visable during filming, and to keep contact with staff to only nessasery. Besides, realisticly they couldn't be actually stranded because Mark and Haechan had to prepare for Hello Future as well as the online fanmeet with the rest of 127. It said in ep. 1 that they filmed this in June.

Erin Nicole

Hi Kuya Jeff, are you gonna do a reaction to Stick Together as well?

Shanz

I know what you mean about wanting to be more like pure reality. I mean it's definitely scripted "reality" like they have the over arching story line and beats but their reactions are them, kinda improv-ish vibes. Like scripted Escape room vibes, like there is a story line but the have to figure out all the puzzles.

Selene Ledezma

I was waiting for you to post your reaction so I could watch it and immediately watch your reaction lol

Selene Ledezma

Did you watch the interviews for before and after ep 1 and after ep 2? They explain a bit of what was going on lol

Doyoungismyult

The only thing that is scripted is the concept of the show. Everything else is there own reactions. I highly suggest watching there interviews because it will clearly show you what the concept is about. They also had an interview that aired before the show aired that clearly outlines what to expect lol

jeffavenue

the cinematography is so nice!! - lol ya I had to make sure to quarantine in a hotel where 1) I would get amazing wifi since I knew id be filming and 2) I wouldn't go crazy in lol . gonna try to claim it in taxes!

jeffavenue

I thought the cameras would've been just placed everywhere independently and remote controlled or something lol

Levi Shanne

True hahaha! The quarantine part of traveling can be a little overwhelming! *Manifesting tax deduction*

Hi Jeff! For a totally unscripted reality show, I think their Stick Together series would be the best option to watch. It's pretty much the 127 version of 7llin in the Dream and it really captured their dynamics well without the inclusion of scripts, skits, themes or concepts.
