Argh there was something I wanted to say since the begining. I felt bad for seyong, I remember he got a lot of hate comments because KBS mostly used his image to make evil edits about him. Idk him well because I never followed his group (MyName) but his fans were really mad that time toward the show. Remember the drama with Euijin about the sketchbook? Actually he suggested the team to work on the formation by himself for their mission and everyone agreed with that. The issue: his group (myname) was active during the shooting of The Unit; they had concerts so their schedule was really tight plus seyong got 2 broken ankle ligaments that time. Days passed seyong didn’t come back yet and the deadline was coming so the team decided the create the formation without him. And when he came back he got mad since they didn’t wait for him and he actually worked on the whole formation the whole night. If seyong knew about the new formations he could sleep rather than work on them. Yeah maybe his reaction was rude but it was understable and the other side could at least understand him. He got a lot of pressure and exhaustion and he said himself that this show was his last chance to succeed as an idol. His group debuted in 2011 and contrary to a lot of the contestants who were quite young, he knew that it will be over after that. People were saying he’s arrogant when he always did his best to create formation that can let shine each single member of his team and to create great harmonies, he split the spotlight on all. he never gave himself a big centered part (just look at the parts he got) and as the leader he focused on each member’s dance and teached them till they were ready. Eujin has been getting the center spot in each performance he did but people only were mad toward seyong when he never did that lol I just think he was the realest on this show and KBS used him to create useless drama because they got nothing else I don’t even stan but oh God that man touched me a lot that time and rewatching it now I kinda feel emo lmao

Umm I think the voting numbers are lower than produce so in general the unit was less popular than Produce when it aired. I think it’s a pity though. It’s such a different show and from comments and then how us Patreons it’s quite popular with international audiences….not sure why it wasn’t more popular in Korea. And yeah it is Raehwan with Ungjae for the faker club 😊. I hope there’s some music project as part of the faker club….it would be so good! Suwoong will be in the drama with Jun as well btw 😊 I liked both of the final songs for the guys but didn’t have as much attraction to the two songs for the girls. It felt like they kept going for songs with the sweet or cute concepts. Even you and I felt like it bordered on the sweet/pure concept for me so I wish they had two songs that were a bit more different…. It’s hilarious how Dong Hyun always makes them do cheesy things and they feel awkward tho hahaha. He did it in a previous group too XD Dancing with the devil is actually really hard to sing I think. So having both Jeup and Rockhyun in that group was a good; it works. With the lineups when I watched this live I didn’t think much of it. Like you said a few times, with so many contestants it was hard to have an impression (a deep one) of many of the contestants and I know distinctly right up to the finale I was like who’s Chan (adore him and ACE now but that was then). Such a long journey; thanks for taking us on this review of a favourite show…one more ep to go!

I was wondering that time what could have happened if JUN (A.C.E) was able to be member of "All Day" team. I remember JUN (U-Kiss) originally wanted him on their team and look all the members were able to be on Top 18. But anyways, I'm glad that A.C.E is doing fine now. All their hardworks are paid off ❤ Side note: (not related but still 😂) sorry I was late, earlier KBS dropped another Dear M. teaser with Jaehyun and I'm freaking out it was so good! The cinematography, music, and acting omg! 😍 btw, it was reported that it would be released 1 episode per week with a total of 12 episodes ☺️

the thing you said about you not getting into the ggs was so me at first tbh but like i think you've only seen the popular ones, and that's like only the tip of the iceberg. there's so much more active girl groups out there that are great but are fragile at the same time. we have CLC from Cube Entertainment. they're going through a lot. member lineup changes, concept changes, mistreatment from company, the oversaturated kpop market, they even hold the title rn of the girl group who took the longest time to win a music show trophy 1,427 days. they're going through a lot rn that's why they're fragile despite of their talent and strong performances. despite it all, they remain strong and determined. along with BlackPink, Little Mix, Pussycat Dolls and Fifth Harmony, they have reached the highest positions ln the Worldwide iTunes Chart and also has the second highest debut on the worldwide itunes song of all time after Blackpink for K-pop girl groups. Their story is what motivates me to aim higher despite all the struggles. They're not flawless as a group but they're constantly learning and improving. I just hate their company from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Getting close to final. Omg it feels like the airing time. Excited but sad. The show will end soon. I just love this program so much. And the debuted group. Especially the boys. Love them sooooo much, my beagle bois 🤧

The Unit was not as popular as produce, and tbh very few shows reached the same level of popularity as the produce series did. Also, if I remember correctly, mixnine was airing at the same time as the unit so I guess people were split between shows at the time

I've been having so much fun watching you react to The Unit so it makes me sad its coming to an end. I've watched sooo many survival shows but for some reason The Unit has remained my favourite of them all. I just loved the format of the show.. I feel like in the coming eps you will end up loving different contestants!!

Hi Jeff! I have couple of questions. Will you be reacting to the final groups MVs and variety show appearances? What about their debut stages? I feel like watching them gives you final picture of the groups. And also the songs were pretty good and deserve a listen.
