i honestly got so mad when suho prevented a scene w/ just jugyeong & seojun. honestly this whole show is a seojun anti lmao (apparently one of the important scenes between jugyeong and suho was supposed to be seojuns but i’m not entirely sure, it was on Twitter)

I usually watch these episodes for the first time with you but for these last 2, I was too excited and watched it yesterday lol imma rewatch it anyways tho :) These 2 episodes really had me on the edge of my seat tho like wow wild things !

I Iook forward to your reactions since I know what will happen and, yes, episode 8 had me in a roller coaster of emotions, cussing towards my phone every time there was a misunderstanding. I feel bad for Seojun but I’m team Suho still. She likes Suho and like what Seojun said, it’s what Ju Kyung feels that matters. Really good 2 episodes, I agree.

I think its better to rewatch with u instead because when if first comes out not every scene has subtitles so its better to watch it later on, you should also watch “exo next door” its a drama with exo and the lead actress on this show, i think you’ll like it.

Your reaction on the last couple of minutes in ep8 was exactly how I felt!! I've never felt so frustrated but I'm glad the episode left off on a good note. On the other hand, it was so sad to see how seojun found out jugyeong likes suho but it was also very sweet that he still comforted her anyway. I do watch the episodes on my own but I still look forward to your reaction since it is interesting to see.

Eunwoo's eyes just hold so much emotion and they captivate me every single episode. Like you can see the childhood trauma in his eyes when he allowed himself to take a picture. Spoiler: Your "I mean, it's not like they're--oh f*ck" at the Suho-Soojin hug scene had me dying AHAHAHA and your reaction right when you realize that there's going to be another misunderstanding is hilarious ahahah This episode had me yelling so many times and my heart was just not ready to deal with all that happened this episode. I have to admit that I was cheering along with you at the end (even though I had already watched this episode twice before) when they FINALLY kissed. AND THE JAW MOVEMENTS, HOLYYYY it's too bad that they decided to pan out instead of zooming into that jaw movement AHAHAH (I also love Yoona and I would love to ship Suho and Soojin, but not when Jugyeong exists in this same universe)

Kinda random, but even though I knew nothing would ever come from Jubal and Hyeong jin, I was so happy to see a guy show genuine interest in her without all the fussing and fighting from the boys....it was so wholesome. Also, his accent was cute sooo 😗

Jugyeong's mom is a really good actress! She was also a part of the oscars winning movie, Parasite and the very successful drama, Crash Landing On You to name a few. I like the dynamics I'm seeing Jugyeong with Seojun in a different way I'm seeing her with Suho. I feel like although Seojun looks tough and careless on the outside, he's just a soft-hearted guy on the inside. Jugyeong looks really comfortable whenever she's with Seojun, i feel like they will make really good bestfriends while with Suho, they look more like a couple with their hearts getting butterflies everytime they're around each other. I feel really bad for Seojun in this ep tho, I don't think you noticed this but it felt really sad when he said "I'm sorry. Whatever it is, it's my fault. I'm sorry" he apologized despite not knowing the reason she cries just bc he doesn't want to see her cry anymore:( The director is the biggest seojun anti...... You don't need to give him that much of a heartbreak?😭💔 One more thing, the actor who played as the basketball oppa acted in Extraordinary You too! So that makes 4 people from Extraordinary You who made a cameo in True Beauty thanks for having the same director:D P.S: Would be great if I can watch it with you as soon as the engsub is out💕

Hahahaha lol, this was so funny to watch. The mood swings. I am on team Han Seojun, so this last episode was a little frustrating and heartbreaking, but congratulations you still get to react to ASTRO 😂. I usually watch the episodes for the first time with you but I seriously don’t mind how long you take to watch each episode. I am also trying to watch other dramas at the same time so I’m not in a big rush to watch True Beauty. On a side note, I have started to watch this super cute web drama. It is called ‘To Be Continued’ and it features predebut ASTRO. They are all so little, even Sanha still has his braces in. Rocky and Moonbin show off a bit of dancing and spins too. If you haven’t watched it I definitely recommend. Anyways, great reaction, can’t wait for the next episodes.

I watch them right away when they're released and then rewatch it with you. I totally feel you, all these misunderstandings are so frustrating... I' really wondering what'll happen now since we still have 8 episodes left. I hope we'll get another kiss scene without the panning out xD And also, I watch it on Kissasian and I've noticed that the subtitles are drastically different, so I wonder which one is more accurate.

These episodes were both frustrating and so good to watch! Episode 8 made me anxious the entire time. I don’t mind you posting later because I do like watching the drama by myself when it airs first bc 1) I get to form my own opinions about certain things and then watch you and 2) watching it again later makes it feel like I don’t have to wait as long for the new episodes. Thanks again for reacting Jeff! Looking forward to next week’s episodes! P.S. I will never forgive the director for playing it safe with the kiss scene by making them just sit still for the close ups and panning out for the *real* kiss shots with the jaw action! But I LOVE that Ju Kyung received her first confession and first kiss while she was bare-faced!

I've never experienced second lead syndrome and didn't expect to get it in this drama because I love Cha Eunwoo but I find myself falling for Seojun, more and more each episode. I feel bad for him! :(

honestly, im getting frustrated and even a little bit annoyed at suho at this point.... like he's way too possessive over jugyeong. for example when the football guy asked for jugyeong for her number, he literally got so pissed. when seojun and jugyeong went shopping, he literally found the EXACT elevator that they were in and wanted to take jugyeong away from seojun. he's literally always just standing there watching jugyeong but seojun actually shows that he can take care of her. and seojun made her a bracelet from the things that he found when they went camping while suho bought an expensive bracelet. seojun knows that he can show that he likes her by taking care of her, while suho thinks that he has to buy expensive things and the fact that suho even told seojun to "stop liking her" while seojun is considerate of her feelings and that she can make her own decision and said it's up to her to choose how she feels while suho feels entitled of her just because he liked her first... suho literally stalks her and follows her everywhere (possessiveness). he goes wherever she goes and literally all he does is stare at her and stands there i literally feel so bad for seojun cuz he sang for the first time in public for jugyeong after his friend died just for her to LITERALLY LEAVE during the performance. he opened up to jugyeong, sang for her, cared for her when she was sick, wiped away her tears. even though jugyeong likes suho, seojun just wants her to be happy even though he knows that she likes suho. seojun didn't get mad at her and comforted her and its also the fact that ik for sure that if jugyeong confessed her feelings for seojun to suho he would've gotten super pissedm while seojun didn't get mad at still comforted her because "her feelings are up to her" WHAT A KING so as of rn I'm #teamseojun

I am watching for the nth time and still rewatched it with you Jeff. I’m team Suho all the way. I love Eunwoo’s acting. He doesn’t say a line and his eyes speak. You can see it clearly in his eyes if he’s mad, happy, in pain or in love.

It’s the way Seo Jun asked her for a number between 1-5 (for the test) and she replied 3 and then he proceeded to say he will reply 5 then and when he got the results he said something that made us understand he actually picked 3. My heart is a little too fragile.

Seojun is not a lead. TVN already released the relationship chart & it clearly states that Suho & ljk has mutual love & Seojun & sujin love will be one sided

A lot of ppl who are frustrated is because webtoon had shown Seojun & ljk as couple but ppl need to understand the webtoon hasn't ended, it's a mess & the director already informed that he has changed the story. Also, TVN had released the relationship chart, clearing telling Suho & LJK are the end game. Coming to the drama, as a girl, I can totally understand why LJK likes Suho. After the fight scene, it was Suho who saw her trauma, kept his hand on her to comfort when they were riding home. It was Suho who didn't make fun of her score, told her how proud he is of her. It was Suho who noticed that she was wearing her mom's salon clip & bought hair clip for her. These are the things the he showed to her. Behind the scene, he was the one who understood what LJK kidnapping did to her, how LJK was still fearing bullies will come & he ensured bullies apologize to her so that she can be at peace. I literally disliked how Seojun ignored the fact that coz of him she was kidnapped & instead said she is healthy & should have run. It's okay if he wanted to look cool but I would not want a partner who can't even see the discomfort a bully causes. Seojun is a good & caring guy but more like an annoying sibling or best friend. Suho could actually look her through, could observe her fear & act on it. And this is not just about him knowing LJK bare face. What LJK felt for bullies had nothing to do with face, it was natural fear of a girl who would feel hesitant to go out alone, thinking someone may kidnap her. I have known this kind of harrasment & I guess, a lot of women may know this that's why I can tell. That's why out of all the gestures both guys made, Suho asking bully to apologise LJK was the best. Also, I loved how he bought swan. Swan depicts beauty & grace. It's Suho way of telling that LJK is no ugly duckling but is a swan. @jeff I loved your reaction. I was similar. 8th episode was frustrating until I saw them kiss & i was like finally 🤣. Btw, this episode has an epilogue that you missed. It comes before next week preview. You can watch that if you want..BTW, the bts of boat scene is very funny. Both were laughing like hell. And yes, eunwoo can kiss for sure. They are high school student that's why they didn't show but the boy knows how to kiss. Thanks again

Just wanted to applaud you for laying it out so perfectly! Even when he blows hot and cold, Suho is the person Jugyeong knows she can trust with her secrets - not just her face, but her interests and her fears that she keeps from everyone else. He does things that make her heart flutter, and her heart is the one in question. If someone would rather date a fun-loving snarky guy like Seojun in their own lives instead of a mysterious and withdrawn guy who's clearly Going Through It like Suho, of course I don't blame them. But this is Jugyeong's (fictional) life and her feelings as well as the narrative have been pointing to Suho the whole time. Even in the webtoon, Jugyeong was 100% all about Suho for the first 58 chapters, and right now we're at like chapter 30 so what are we gonna do?

I'm not yet finished watching but I just had to comment about that one shot of the mother you pointed out - the one which you said it showed her anger and concern towards Jugyeong. I was so scared when I first saw that shot because that is how my mom looks at me whenever I try to open up to her. It's a traumatizing look from a mom, whom you just want to understand you. But that face - those eyes look different from a daughter/child who already felt like she's not being understood or even listened to in the first place. So, yeah. That shot frightens me and makes me tear up a little every time ;(
