I’m realllly early 😂, but for a little bit of info, Samuel wasn’t in WannaOne but he did get very far and popular on Produce 101. UNB was the group created from The Unit.

Lauren Freeman

I'll be updating this as I watch through lol. Kim Donghan was on produce season 2 and was in the very successful project group JBJ (which was AMAZING bops on bops better than wannaone IMO) he went solo for a bit (his music is amazing and he's SO sexy) but will be in WEi with Yohan from X1 so keep an eye out for that. Euijin's specialty is really in street dance he is absolutely mindblowing and was in UNB with Chan from A.C.E and Feeldog (do you remember him from Hit the Stage?) after the Unit. Can't wait for you to watch that and MIXNINE honestly though it still gives me big sads. Also can't believe you didn't recognize Q, his movement choices and body proportions are so unique to me I couldn't miss it. I love heeeeeeeeem

jeffavenue

ohhhh i guess i’ll know more when i cover The Unit! and ohhh i thought he made the final lineup cause i know he’s popular

Anonymous

Jeff you should really check out astros always you choreography it is really gooood!

jeffavenue

oh yeah i’ve seen it already! i checked out the performance bit version after i filmed the reaction 😁

Fun fact: Samuel was a trainee with seventeen. He was so little back then and had long hair. He is in some of seventeen pre debut videos.

Anonymous

no wonder you like Samuel he trained with seventeen since he was very young like 12 he mostly end up being one of svt members but he left the company before they debut.

Shira-Ou

samuel didnt actually get to debut in wanna one but he was placed pretty high in the show haha, i think he was also originally suppose to be part of seventeen lineup but now he is a soloist :D he is definitely an amazing dancer

Amanda Araujo

Taeyang was the one doing flips in the first cover and the song he danced to when he was eliminated it's from sf9 not mx lmao but i get why you would be confused, also Euijin was one of the judges for Dancing High ep 3 and 4, he is really famous for his popping abilities and UNB was a temporary group he was in along with Feeldog and Chan from A.C.E

Anonymous

at first, Aroha has doubt purple23 is rocky because of height lol. Rocky keep insist that he's tall. for me, his height average close to tall. it just moonbin, eunwoo and sanha are SO tall hahaha. btw rocky consistent got top 1 and positive comments from the judges through out the show.

Anonymous

When it first aired I was fresh from watching the Unit and was so stoked that I guessed Euijin right!

jeffavenue

yeah he looks a bit shorter when he’s in astro but like you said it’s just moonbin, sanha and eunwoo are so tall. but he looks like he’s around 5’9”

RisingSunbebe

Euijin from Bigflo and UNB (you'll watch The Unit) is one of my favorite dancers - he's also on the panel for Dancing High (appeared in the last episode you watched) - look forward to him, he's amazing!

XSHINeeBAP

Jeff 2 episodes of Mtopia super m were released on youtube are u going to react to it?

elise

The one from ONF is Yuto, our dance machine. You already pointed him last time in their practice of RTK. Little fact : SVT's actual choreographer praised him and gave him the highest score in the team CLAP. For Donghan they already told you but he was in PRODUCE, after was in JBJ, he also was in solo but now he will debut in Wei (even if I have mixed emotion because I loved him so much as a soloist). Hope you can check him out because he is so good especially in his solo stuff. For Euijin, I mentionned him when I recommended THE UNIT saying he was one of the best dancer in the emission (with Seyong you saw in HIT THE STAGE and FEELDOG). Just when you said he was good at popping I was like "YESS", in my opinion he is one of the best idol at popping. He was in Dancing High next to FEELDOG because they were in UNB together The song for Taeyang was NOW OR NEVER by SF9 (and not Jealousy of MONSTA X) , the choregraphy of this song is just fabulous

I laughed as soon as you said it was Rocky in the 1st episode when he spun cause that was exactly how I spotted him. Hands down had to be him

jeffavenue

yes definitely! haha i’m just running errands right now and i will be sure to film it today. i’m so excited!

Your FACE when Q was revealed OMG I laughed so hard 😂🤣😂

This was overall a pretty fun show! I think I expected a bit more from the initial BTS/SVT covers given I know and like all the dancers on this roster, but I actually felt a bit let down by the SVT covers in particular. Maybe it's because I'm just too used to how SVT themselves perform it (and also at the fact that their choreos are meant to utilise their number of members whereas here it was just 3 people) but I felt Don't Wanna Cry, in particular, fell a bit short - I was actually surprised it won over the Clap cover which I personally felt captured the song better. But oh well, it was just a fun show to show off their skills and I'm glad for that! I have a question: I think you'd mentioned you would consider watching Produce season 2 sometime in the future, after The Unit (and possibly Mixnine?) I'd suggest you do put it on your list at some point, it's so iconic and its impact on the industry currently is insane with how deep and widespread its connections run. People have already talked about Samuel and Donghan on Produce but there are plenty of other great dancers there who got a shot to shine, like Taehyun (from the group Hotshot) and Eunki (who later debuted in the project group Rainz and is now a soloist) who unfortunately haven't appeared on other shows like The Unit or Mixnine although they're very highly critically acclaimed. But I feel you might like getting to know them at some point! (last point I swear: this has nothing to do with anything but ONF's U aka Yuto gives me SVT Dino vibes. I find him so passionate in performing too, and a whole cutie - I only really started looking into ONF after Road to Kingdom and they have such amazing personalities as a group, but U's really interesting in particular!)

jeffavenue

oh yea i see what you mean. i think don’t wanna cry maybe won as a song rather than its execution because i do think clap was a better cover given what i said on the video. the dancers are amazing nonetheless tho! it’s a tough song to dance. and yes definitely will add produce s2 to my list! we got lots of time 😁 i’m doing the unit for sure after dancinghigh but for afterwards i’ll do another poll and include this one!

In case you didn't noticed, Euijin (Yellow 22) was an special judge in dancing high, his forte is popping (he is really good) he was in unb with feeldog (the proyect group from the unit) but his first debut was in bigflo

Hi! This is my first time here. I signed up because I wanted to see your reaction of Rocky's performance in Dance war ... I must confess that after watching him dance on this show, I definitely became a Rocky's fan. You should see the unmasked version of all the rounds, you will love them! Additionally... Could you, please, see his 3-in-1 dance of "Moving mountains" (Usher)? 🤗 Thank you! https://youtu.be/SD4uBJ-8ES8

Hi Jeff! I saw that NCT U's Timeless is on your reactions list. Can you possibly react to the predebut version of Timeless, before reacting to the NCT version? Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on trainees intl age 20 y.o Taeil, 19 y.o Doyoung and 18 y.o Jaehyun~ here's the link: https://youtu.be/5Q4mKCyZI3k

i hope you can react to infinite dance practices like last romeo, back, before the dawn, etc

brianna a

Lol you probably already got this comment but, Samuel is not from wanna one XD he never made it to the group, but he is an amazing soloist!!

Lesly!

Waaaaa~ finally! Thank you for this! Im so sad i wasnt an aroha back then because we were lacking in voting :(((((( But knowing that the professional judges always ranked him #1 is already a validation for us that he definitely is one of the best idol dancers in kpop (he needs to be appreciated more) ♡ But everyone's really good. All 8 of them!

Natalie Burger

really random, but the fact that samuel is 11 years younger than euijin still amazes me lmao

BaoziBang

Right? Euijin just finished Military service and Samuel is basically still a baby!

BaoziBang

Just so you know, Feeldog is 167cm and Euijin is 171cm (at least according to their Profiles... I'm pretty sure they are both 1-2cm shorter as they said!) it's interesting. They would look tall next to Woozi but both look absolutely TINY next to most Idols 🤣

I was curious did you record this before you reacted to SF9's "Now or Never" or after it? 😂😂 But it totally make sense because instead of Jilleosseo they actually sounds 'Jealous' for that song 😂 at first when I watch the 1st round I actually guessed correctly for SF9 Yoo Taeyang bc of the way he dance. Plus before Dance War, Taeyang did the cover of Fake Love during their Fanmeeting and fans managed to notice the similarity in their dances. And others that I managed to guessed was Samuel & Donghan because they were both in Produce 101 S2 and my picks during that moment. So yeah, 3/8 correct at the start of the show 😂 i am in no place to say a word about their dancing because all I can see each of them have their own distinctive way in dancing? Because I have been so familiar with Taeyang's dance, and it kinda blow my mind when a group of main dancers combined really gives off different vibes from each other. As for Yoo Taeyang, I'd like to recommend you a cover video Taeyang did a dance cover of Tobias Ellehammer | Janet Jackson - Burnitup! https://youtu.be/ugKwzeK-1dE And it's really good too! Taeyang actually didn't starts out in SF9 as the main dancer but then he went to dance academy and learned until he actually earned that title, he also choreographed few of their B-sides track e.g. Unlimited. It'd be great if you can check them out. And for SF9 as a whole, among their craziest choreography are for "K. O" https://youtu.be/AGoBDdW9Z14 which include the pinwheel dance and "JUNGLE GAME" https://youtu.be/wKd20LmdjpY (this is a mirrored version) which include Transformer dance. If you could check either one of these videos I've linked I'm sure you'd be fond of any one of it!

jeffavenue

3/8 is good! haha i haven’t listened to now or never in awhile i forgot that it was an sf9 song lol. i have several sf9 songs like midnight road and echo on my playlist but not this one haha

Some facts~ Someone already mentioned Samuel trained with Svt, no wonder he’s a good dancer. He was supposed to debut with them but his mom took him away from company saying he was too young to debut. He was ina duo later, produce 101, currently a soloist. But he loves being in a group and being solo is not what he wants, I feel like. Also, Always You choreography is really good, glad you checked that out. It was Astro first comeback after a while of nothing, they later said that the future of group was unclear because of financial difficulties and they could have disbanded but they made it and had comeback with Always You, it’s really warm song for fans, whole album is. But they didn’t have proper promotions with it, no dance practice either... It’s one of my fav songs by them~

Lawresha

I could pretty much guess Samuel because of how he danced to the seventeen songs and he's done covers to support them seeing as he was supposed to be apart of their group.

Hi Jeff, this was definitely a good reaction video. Thank you! I had to sign up on patreon because of this and I really like your reaction vids. Always waiting them in yt. Can you also please react to this Special Stage performance of these great dancers (Ten, Rocky, Dino, Shownu, Jinyeong, Hyunkung)? It's kinda old (4 years ago) but it's worth it. https://youtu.be/WxQSJUrHpz8

Isa Alvim

honestly Dance War had a really cool concept but people figured out who the dancers were from the 1st round so it became more of a popularity contest.. but all of them did amazing, my personal favorites were for sure Rocky and Q

Anonymous

Hey, thank you for reacting to this. I got into dance war only this year just because I had a break from ASTRO for a bit from 2018 (cause I was trying to focus only on one group (not ASTRO) back then, you know, with life and so on lol).... And now that I'm more flexible with my time, I immediately check on this show because I heard Rocky's in it...And although I already know which one was him from comments on YT and stuff, even I was like 100% sure I could have guessed which one was him just from his turn lol....There's just something so graceful with the way he dance that I always find myself like holding my breath and not blinking just because I don't want to miss anything....Anyway, thank you for reacting once again!
