*Warning: Spoilers!! Don’t read this comment if you don’t want to be spoiled!!* I’ll definitely be supporting them all whether they won or not, the final teams were all so talented! I still think that mnet should’ve made the last round individual voting; it’s criminal that we never got to hear Jay sing with Donghun and Jeup. Donghun and Jeup were my top two, what they have as a duo is like capturing lightning in a bottle — they’re both such phenomenal vocalists who match each other so well that they should honestly think about debuting together (or at least release some osts or ballads or something 😭) I’m grateful that this show introduced to me vocalists that I would’ve never known of otherwise, and that we got to hear such great performances!! But I do kinda think that Mnet lost the plot a bit 😂 it started off as a vocal show and in the final rounds started making them do choreo (and then the judges criticized the strongest vocal performance for not focusing on their vocals more…? Make it make sense 💀) Overall, I think the show was a tester for whatever they’re planning on coming out with next, they clearly had no set rule book which was a bit unfair to the contestants, but it’s mnet so I wasn’t really holding my breath for a miracle. Congratulations to HunMinJayBit, I will be cheering them on in their regular groups, and as BDU!! Dongup, my top two, I can’t wait to see what they do next, either together, or individually 🥹 All the phenomenal singers we were lucky enough to meet through Build Up, I hope this show will serve as a stepping stone in their careers. Shine bright, babies!! 🥰✨

I'M STANNING THIS LINEUP SO HARD!!! Also, I'm so proud of Jay!!!! And to think he will be debuting with his close friend and label-mate Bitsaon! He has worked so hard, so to see it all pay off is so rewarding. I genuinely love every member of this group, so seeing them all achieve their dreams makes me so happy. And as much as I didn't like the group voting situation, it has meant talents like Minseo stood a chance of making the lineup. I hope the best for all the other contestants, this show has given a spotlight to some amazing vocalists!

I'm happy Jay and Bitsaon debuted but also wanted Wumuti in there and Jeup since they are not in groups, and they are considered old by kpop standards which is so dumb to me. So, time is not on their side and even if they debut as solo unfortunately the results won't be good due to groups being more popular than solos. When people in this industry go solo, they really have to be lucky, Hince why most kpop idols have better chances as making as actors and actress then soloists. I wish wasn't like that but its reality kpop groups do better in Korea then U.S groups in America. U.S solo artist do better in American than soloists in South Korea.

Warning: Long comment I'm so sorry 😅 Mnet really said "I'm gonna make a show and let JAY build his own group" HAHA I can't believe I live in a time where JAY won on an Mnet survival show 🥹 That 50% korean votes + 50% global votes really ruined it for Jay when he was in BP (although he got high global votes) but this time, it worked to his advantage! He's so popular on this show and I'm so happy for him! He deserves it so much! They're finally recognizing his talent 😭❤️ "If it's meant to be, it will be" 🫶🙌 I also agree that Jay, Jeup, Donghun, and Seunghun should have been the perfect group (if only Mnet was smart enough 🥲) and the fact that Jeup and Jay really wanted to be in a same group 😢 The format was so flawed from the beginning. I'm guessing Mnet was not happy from the individual interim votes before because iirc, the top rankings were very much dominated by idol group members so if you're not as popular as Jay or Donghun then you're probably still not gonna make it. So am I still gonna stan this group? I DEFINITELY WILL! I'm gonna stan so hard!! I've been rooting for Jay since BP days, and I know he's already debuted as a solo and in a group but debuting from an Mnet show will give him a lot more opportunities and I'm so excited about it. Aside from that, I actually came to love HunMinJayBit as group so so much after watching their performances. Their chemistry is sooo good! And they complement each other very well. This group has endless possibility they're versatile and I'm really looking forward to their future! Bitsaeon, I was rooting for him ever since Peak Time! I really wanted him to succeed and I thought this kind of talent should not be wasted. Minseo, was such a surprise for me, he keeps getting better and better every stage and I really love his personality, he's so sweet 🫶 Seunghun, oh my gaaad I'm so happy for him, my CIX bias 🥹 such an all-rounder. I love him! ❤️ I hope Mnet fully support this group once they debut. With your question, about the promotion, yes it's 2 years but Jay (OnePact), Seunghun (CIX), and Bitsaeon (Mont) are still allowed to promote with their own groups and Minseo also if he debuts with his own group after this show. 😊 Wow, what a journey! Another Mnet survival show done! Mnet is a snake most of the time, but we all can agree that when it comes to these kind of shows, they really are the best lol except with naming their groups HAHA B.D.U Fighting! 😄👏

It was kinda one of the talks that Build Up was inspired by BTOB Vocal line since BTOB’s Vocal line is composed of 4 main vocalist who suit the 4 categories of build up in the beginning (all rounder, power, soul, unique). Through the course of this show BTOB’s song was sang twice and as a long time Melody (BTOB’s fandom name) I am so proud of that. Finale:Our Concert has been BTOB and Melody’s encore song every single concert since 2018. This was also the song when a member raised his 7 fingers after a member had left the group (they were originally 7), so this song is such a precious song for us. I am so grateful for the Build Up boys that they decided to sing this, this is a bside, not promoted, and only performed in concerts (and once in Killing Voice). This means that they really admire BTOB, well some of them are vocal about being a fan even before Build Up. I’m just so happy that BTOB is now being recognized huhu it’s a long overdue but at least it’s happening now. Back to the result, I knew even before starting that this HunMinJayBit will win, they deserve it. Everyone actually deserves it atp. If I were to choose my team, (if it will be just up to me), it would be 5 hahaha sorry i can’t, and these are: Jay, Jeup, Seunghun, Donghun, and Seohyung (his bass is kinda a fundamental factor for me to have as a vocal group) Sorry this is quite long, I enjoyed watching this one with you as well.

I honestly wasn’t serious about this show at all in the beginning and just wanted to see my Jay shine and watch some nice performances, but when they all formed into teams of four things got serious for me, I still felt like i wouldn’t mind any team debuting because everyone is obviously talented and has what it takes but inside I was rooting so hard for hunminjaybit, it started as I just want Jay to I actually love this team so much on another level so, I’m really happy they won and I’M DEFINITELY STANNING THEM SO HARD. still sad about the others esp jeup donghun and wumuti, but I really couldn’t have asked for a better team than hunminjaybit so overall I’m pretty satisfied with the result. ALSO you getting emotional over minseo’s last note on the surprise song is relatable afff. cuz like minseo really got me emotionally with his story and everything but like he be getting me with his voice too much. esp during the last 3-4 eps he’s been feeling like he came out of nowhere cuz why do i love him so much??!😭 and that note sounded just like how you described it ughh.

I really loved this show because I really love singing and I’ve been singing since I was 13 and now I’m 21. I never took any vocal lessons but I was in choir for 7 years and I sing everyday no matter where I am and that is how I got into K-POP and this was the first time to see a survival show that was only centered around vocals because I’ve seen a lot of mnet survival shows and they are mostly about debuting a girl group or boy group in the K-POP industry which the contestants would be judged not only on vocals, but also rapping and dancing as well because that is what K-POP is centered around so I was so excited that they came out with a show like this because I love singing so much and I also know a lot of the contestants because I stan a ton of boy groups from the 3-5 generation of K-POP so I know how talented these boys are in their vocal abilities and I am really proud of all of them even the ones I don’t know as well I am so happy for team HunMinJayBit they really deserved that win especially Minseo because he is just a trainee but he is so outstanding. After he is done with the vocal group promotions I hope he debuts in a boy group either in the company he is currently with or in another company because he is way too talented to let go. Anyway LOVED your reaction to this Jeff you are amazing as always lots of love from me and always be happy!!!!
