Here's a short test animation of Zoe's room to test out the dynamic elements in motion. Quality should be identical to the target render,  safe for some small differences in color grading. The rain itself falls a bit slowly and will likely drop a bit faster in the final animation, some mild flickering here and there as well, but that's nothing that can't be reduced for the final film.


Next step is to implement Zoe, her room is now ready to go!

Hey' what is your setup you use to work ? (Cpu, gpu ...) 5 hours seam a bit long,.. I will watch this render tomorow with my new 4K screen ^^ Can't stand :)

The card rendering the scene is a GTX 970. Note that the render time per frame is 90 seconds, which is still considered fast for a 3D render. Of course a GTX 1080, or Titan X would likely be able to do the job in half the time, probably even less due to the considerably larger amount of VRAM. (:
