I decided to break from VGM this time and cover a song I enjoy from Tame Impala; basically a one-man-band out of Australia. I really dig his music, and have since his first album released back in 2010. This is the opening song from his 2nd album, and it hit me really hard in a good way. It's got a super-positive message, and a driving beat...what more do you need? Very fun to arrange this one!

An original a-cappella arrangement of "Be Above It" by Tame Impala. I decided on a whim to break from video game songs to have some fun with this one. It has a great message, and I think he (Kevin Parker) wrote it from an introspective place...not to mention how good the chords and beat are. I did my best to capture the original feel, while adding my own sound to it.
